College Football Today top 2021 football recruits features Rontavious Benjamin ranked as the 25th top wide receiver recruit in the world. He has garnered an offer from the prestigious Army football team and recently earned his second D1 offer from Gardner-Webb. The Army football scouting department obviously is able to see the greatness that Rontavious Benjamin possesses and they send the best pictures I have seen in the world of College Football Today. He also has gained major interest from the likes of Wake Forest, South Carolina, Kentucky, Alabama, Coastal Carolina, Clemson, Syracuse, App State & Furman. I expect most of those teams and many more to offer the dynamic wide receiver out of Central HS in South Carolina, as he reminds me of a young Jerry Jeudy in the way he operates on the gridiron. Rontavious is a true 4.4,40 football recruit and displays epic brilliance in his route running, as well as his overall capabilities at the wide receiver position. TOP 2021 WR RECRUIT
Top 2021 WR recruit Rontavious Benjamin is the definition of a prime time play-maker and can take the ball to the house, as both a kick return man and is the ultimate deep threat as a wide receiver. Benjamin has outstanding acceleration and runs precise routes, as has the overall op speed to pull away from the defense. He has outstanding field vision after the catch and is extremely good at locating the football in the air. Even when the football is poorly delivered, Benjamin can adjust quickly and still make a play on the football, while also catching the football with soft hands. Rontavious is a very fluent running and is one of the best at fielding the football in the kick return game, as he is able cleanly field the football and accelerate up the field in a hurry. I love the way Ron is able to high point the football, as seen at around 1:35 and go over the top of defenders for touchdowns. He proves to be a dynamic red-zone threat, along with a captivating player when the pigskin is in his hands. Ron was selected as a 2021 HS All-American and invited to participate in last year's bowl game in Memphis,Tennessee. I have heard whispers that he will be playing in our 2021 College Football Today All-American Bowl and I look forward to seeing in action against the best football recruits in the world.
2021 TOP WIDE RECEIVERS
Out of all the College Football Today 2021 top wide receivers, Big Ron is the closest resemblance of one of the most dominant college football receivers the past few seasons. Why do I think he compares to the Denver Broncos wide receiver and Biletnikoff Award winner Jerry Jeudy? First off, he is he is faster than Jerry Jeudy, when evaluating NFL combine numbers, who ran a 4.45,40 yard dash. So we will just state they are the same speed, but Big Ron is going into his senior year of high school. Secondly, Ron can be seen using the same deceptive moves when skedaddling through traffic and loves the jump back or sudden stop move. This type of running after the catch makes the two extremely comparable, along with the ability to high point the football and run outstanding routes. The new College Football Today top 2022 football recruits features yet another Dickinson HS football phenom in Dereiaz Wilson, who is one of the best interior defensive linemen in the nation. He is synaptic ally quick off the snap off the football and reminded me of a young Aaron Donald in the way he can wreak havoc in the opponents backfield. His football combine numbers are off the charts for his stature, as he was able to run a 4.87,40 yard dash and bench presses 315 pounds. Wilson was able to enter the College Football Today recruit rankings with a flabbergasting 8.6415 STEP rating and is currently ranked the 15th best 2022 defensive tackle recruit in the nation. TOP 2022 DT RECRUIT
Top 2022 DT recruit Dereiaz Wilson plays with outstanding technique in the trenches, while battling through the offensive interior line. Wilson is able to gain leverage quickly off the snap of the football and is able to shed defenders with his stellar upper body strength, while being adept in hand to hand combat in the trenches. Dereiaz is able to keep his arms extended upon engagement and quickly find the ball carrier to bring him to an abrupt halt. He is very keen at dealing with chop blocks, as he uses quick wit and violent hands to drive offensive linemen into the turf and exhibits a high motor in pursuit of the football. His overall athletics are freakish at the defensive tackle position, as he runs a 4.87, 40 yard dash, which is among the elite athletes at his position and class. His pass rush abilities have the potential to be like NFL All-Pro Aaron Donald, as the two are very similar in their style of play on the interior line.
2022 TOP DEFENSIVE TACKLES
2022 top defensive tackles should be training like Dereiaz Wilson is seen on his Twitter feed below. There is a reason he is so dominant on the playing field and Dickinson HS football is purely a football town. Having located the likes of Donovan Green as a Freshmen and watching him climb everyone's board, as the Top Tight End recruit in the nation. I believe the same will happen for Wilson, if he remains the determined young man that he currently is. Wilson is a freak athlete in the trenches to say the least, but he also is extremely technically sound in his dynamic methods used to get rid of blockers and swallow up ball carriers in the backfield. He can be seen playing with extended arms and using his hulk like strength to stand his ground through double-teams, while keeping his eyes keenly on the play developing. He is very adept at dealing with cut-blockers and is able to drive them into the ground, while using his 4.87 speed to track down running backs. Wilson can be seen lined up as a 3-4 nose guard and a 4-3 defensive tackle, as I believe he could excel in either position at the next level. Check out how well Dereiaz moves in the Tweet below!

Why is Dickinson,Texas a football town and holds my utmost respect? Well, when Hurricane Harvey hit the coast of Texas, many in the town Dickinson,Texas lost everything, except their desire for the youth and the sport of American football. They were able to fight back against adversity and overcome many obstacles to get back to a normal way of living. The young men of Dickinson High School football are not only determined to make it to the top, but lack nothing in terms of work ethic and the desire to succeed. I do not own the rights to the video below, but as you will see even Hurricane Harvey couldn't stop the Gators from taking the field and putting on a show!

When College Football Today releases their Top 2023 specialist recruits, I believe 2023 kicker Ty Miller could find himself ranked very highly and he has already built a foundation of glorious work in the kicking game. Ty has worked with some of the best kicking and punting coaches in the game of American football, as he strives to be the best kicker in the nation and has the abilities to do so. I found a picture on his Twitter profile of the legendary Ray Guy, who we will get into more later in this scouting report and it is a true testament of what he could become down the road. He has worked my friends at NKR, who selected my 2020 HS All-American specialists and the one on one kicking coaches in Louisiana. Both parties do an excellent job at developing top specialists recruits and Ty Miller has soaked up all of the knowledge along the way. 2023 TOP KICKER RECRUIT
2023 top kicker recruit Ty Miller scored a fantastic round in the NKR kicking chart featured above, as well as demonstrated a very consistent approach to the football. He proves to have outstanding kicking technique and is able to keep his eyes locked on the football through contact. Keeping your head on the football through point of contact is able to create maximum power on the football, as you are using your entire body to strike the pigskin. This also generates great ball lift and when you have a great plant location like Ty Miller, you can create maximum ball lift as well as accuracy. Watching the football jump off of Miller's foot, while paused at :44 seconds, proves Ty is way beyond his years in the kicking game. He strikes the football perfectly and scores 2 points on the NKR charting system, while generating outstanding initial ball lift. You will also see his left arm coming across his body to control him from swinging out to the left, which is why this ball is able to fly straight down the middle of the Arena Football goal posts. In the kicks ensuing, you will hear Coach Brian Jackson say the word smashed and Ty Miller finished the chart as only a Top 2023 kicker recruit would.
TOP 2023 KICKER RECRUIT
In a more recent workout, top 2023 kicker recruit Ty Miller is seen in a snap, hold kick operation. Top 2023 kicker recruit Ty Miller is able to complete another stellar chart and is able to go back to 53 yards, with an adequate operation in front of him. He actually proves to strike the football more precisely with a full snap, hold and kick operation, which proves what kind of athlete we are dealing in Ty Miller. Having been the son of a former NFL Kicker, who was 100% self-taught, I have not seen many in any recruiting class with the overall kicking skill that Ty Miller possesses in the kicking game. We could compare him to Rodrigo Blankenship because of his glasses, but he missed a field goal to win the game against South Carolina. I believe Ty Miller is more trustworthy in pressure situations, due to his immense amount of training off the field and has my full attention moving forward, as we begin to add the top 2022 and 2023 specialists to our recruit rankings at College Football Today.
TOP SPECIALIST RECRUITS
Top specialist recruits need to demonstrate the ability to block out distractions and trust their technique that has been ingrained through their coaching, as well as their own daily processes. This is not an easy task when there are 80-100 thousand ravaging fans that are praying you miss. Miller not only shows the ability to strike a football, but also is able to hit solid balls when things aren't so perfect in front of him operationally. This could have something to do with his coaching from the best athlete to ever put his foot to a pigskin, as Ray Guy will forever be the best overall athlete to boot a pigskin. From traveling all through Mississippi and Louisiana, the legend will forever live on, as many have stated he could pitch a no hitter and kick/pass a football 100 yards. I still have to see that to this day and I happy to be apart of the recruiting journey of top 2023 kicker recruit Ty Miller. So far, his long in practice is 55 yards and his longest in a game, as a Freshmen was 37 yards. I expect big things out Ty Miller moving forward and many game winners throughout his illustrious career as a College Football Today top specialist recruit.

The much anticipated College Football Today top 2024 football recruits top 80 was released last night on Rokfin and top 2024 RB recruit Wyatt Potter was able to rank in the Top 50! Potter is one of the top 2024 football recruits coming out of the Midwest and is one of the most determined downhill runners in the nation. Initial notes on Top 2024 RB recruit Wyatt Potter. Top 2024 RB/OLB recruit Wyatt Potter is an explosive downhill runner out of Overland Park in Kansas, who has an enormous amount of potential to flourish as a running back the next four years at St.Thomas Aquinas. Potter can be seen in his 2019 highlight's using great ball carrier vision and excellent burst to pull away from defenders. He is a very tough football player and will be competing with the Top 2024 football recruits in our S.T.E.P ratings championship series.
2024 TOP FOOTBALL RECRUIT
2024 top football recruit Wyatt Potter will be one of the most sought after running back recruits in the 2024 recruiting class. His skedaddle skills are off the the charts for such a young age and his burst, speed and grit will make him a instant game changer for St.Thomas Aquinas HS in Kansas. He is able to take the football and get motoring downhill in a flash, as he proves to be able to move the chains at will and has the wiggle to find the cutback lanes to make defenders miss. Potter is able to run through tacklers time and time again in his 8th grade highlight's above, as he will be a name to watch coming out of Kansas in the 2024 football recruiting class.

College Football Today top 2022 football recruits was updated recently and top 2021 WR/Specialist recruit Devery Cagle was able to enter with an outstanding initial STEP rating of 8.5819. He is an extremely gifted wide receiver, who runs exceptional routes and is very deceptive when executing the route tree. Cagle has very good overall athletics at the receiver position and is able to produce yards after the catch, as he will be an extremely valuable asset for any offense at the next level. His keen style of play reminds me of Ed McCaffrey in the way he executes as a receiving target and he also has one of the strongest legs in the nation, as a top specialist recruit at Scout Trout & College Football Today. Devery has been putting in an immense amount of work this off-season and is about to have another breakout season in the talent rich State of South Carolina. Top 2022 WR recruit Devery Cagle was ranked the number one all-purpose receiver in the State of South Carolina and has arguably one of the strongest kicking legs in the 2022 football recruiting class. Cagle is a dynamic offensive weapon, who runs exceptional routes and is a very sure handed receiver when maneuvering through heavy traffic. Devery also is able to chew up huge chunks of yardage after the catch, while being able to adjust his body accordingly to make game changing receptions. As a specialist, Cagle is the best I have seen thus far in the class of 2022 and he is able to get very good ball lift in his 2019 highlight's on his field goals. In a recent workout I found on Twitter, Cagle was able to go 34-50 on field goal attempts from 50 yards out. His punts shot off his wicked fast leg and were able to hang around 4.2-4.3 seconds, which is phenomenal for a 2022 punter recruit. He finishes his workout, while working on his balance and showing off his impeccable concentration and soft receiving hands. Top 2022 WR/K/P Devery Cagle excels as both a wide receiver and as specialist, as he is one of the most coordinated overall athletes in the nation. Top 2022 football recruit Devery Cagle has been added to our Top 2022 ATH recruits at College Football Today and will rank highly as both a receiver, as well as specialist recruit when we release them in the near future. I am highly intrigued by his overall skill-set and look forward to watching progress over the next three seasons in the talent rich State of South Carolina.
TOP 2022 SPECIALISTS
Top 2022 specialists have not yet to be determined, but the way Devery Cagle strikes the pigskin could see him in the top tier of 2022 specialist recruits at College Football Today. He recently competed in the Kohl's Scholarship Kicking Event and was blasting kickoffs deep into the end-zone. He also performed a recent workout, which is on his Scout Trout Top 2022 ATH recruiting profile, where he went 34-50 from 50 yards out on Field Goal attempts. Cagle also was 65/66 on extra point attempts in 2019 and converted 3 of 4 field goal attempts that had excellent trajectory, as he could be one of the most under the radar specialist recruits in the nation. He was able to boom the ball consistently into the end-zone and is one of the best overall athletes in the 2022 football recruiting class.

Top 2021 football recruit Braeden Howell is one of the most synaptic-ally wired athletes I have evaluated when firing off the football. He is able to create instant penetration with his quick first step and he will plays with a low center of gravity, as he is able to gain leverage on his opponent and get to the quarterback. When evaluating players for the 2020 NFL Draft, Braeden reminds me of Bengals 4th round pick and Appalachian State standout Akeem David-Gaither, when it comes to the overall metrics of a top defensive player in the National Football League. David-Gaither checked in at 6'1,215 pounds and although he did not test in many combine events, has the same synaptic or fast-twitch that Howell also possesses when coming off the edge. Howell is used primarily on the defensive line, but he is your prototypical Hybrid Outside Linebacker when evaluating his overall athletics and skill-set on the gridiron of Texas HS Football. TOP 2021 EDGE RUSHER
Top 2021 edge rusher Braeden Howell has developed into one of the most fearsome pass rushers in the nation and has freakish combine athletics, which are clearly visible when watching his fast-twitch coming off the edge. Howell is arguably one of the quickest edge rushers I have evaluated off the snap of the football and has extremely violent hands that he uses to disengage from from offensive linemen. He can be seen lining up at all positions on the defensive line and imposing his will on any man in his path to the football. As a pass rusher, Howell has a wicked swim move and his closing speed is off the charts, as he can be seen coming off the edge like a bat of hell in his junior season highlight's. Braeden plays with a low center of gravity and is an extremely sure tackler, as he shoots low and hog ties ball carriers legs, as he also possesses uncanny overall strength. He gains leverage quickly with his flexibility and "bend", as he can be seen shredding through double-teams en-route to sack after sack in his junior campaign. He also is a very gifted TE, that could be utilized as an H-Back and is one of the best overall athletes in the 2021 football recruiting class.
TOP 2021 WDE RECRUIT
Howell could also be considered and ranked in my top 2021 WDE recruit rankings, as he is one of the most gifted pass rushers I have evaluated on tape. Braeden's overall athletics are the main reason I have him listed as a OLB/Hybird recruit and he could easily fit into many roles on the defensive and offensive side of the football in the world of College Football Today. His combine numbers are listed below and I have been keeping a close eye on his training efforts down in Texas, as he has been developing extremely quick feet in the sand. Howell was able to rank 15th overall in the 2021 Outside Linebacker recruit rankings and has some of the best overall combine numbers in the 2021 football recruiting class. When you compare these numbers with his stellar 2019 highlight's, you begin to see the formation of what very well could be the next elite edge rusher in College Football Today. His abilities as a an H-Back/TE are also to be noted, as he uses the same tenacity to drive opponents off the football and is also a very gifted receiving target. Howell will certainly be a name to watch in the 2021 football recruiting class and this year in Texas HS Football!

We have added Lonnell Owens-Pabon to our top 2022 linebacker recruits and he was able to rank 15th overall in a star studded class of linebacker recruits. Lonnell is a very cerebral ball player from evaluating tape and also has very strong academics, as he has a 3.57 GPA (Honors) heading into his junior campaign. He is a competitor year around as a three sport athlete, who competes in track and field and is one of the best wrestlers in the State of Maryland. After the College Football Today Top 2022 Football Recruit re-rank, Lonnell was able to earn a 8.5998 STEP rating in an elite 2022 LB recruit group and will be one of the best 2022 college football recruits coming out of the State of Maryland. Top 2022 LB recruit Lonnell Owens-Pabon is a high octane defensive player, who possesses outstanding closing speed and plays with tenacity on the gridiron of Maryland HS football. Lining up as an edge rusher, Lonnell can be seen quickly penetrating the opposing teams backfield and wreaking havoc play after play. His fast twitch off the edge makes him extremely hard to handle in the trenches, as he is able to fight through double teams very easily and create turnovers for the South River defense. Pabon is a brutalizing tackler and keeps his legs churning to finish tackles, as he possesses an extremely motor and exhibits brute strength when wrapping up ball carriers. His ability off the edge is quite intriguing to say the least, as he has an extremely quick get off and an innate ability to dislodge the football to cause fumbles. 2022 LB recruits should be adept in man to man and zone coverage schemes, as college football can be a very pass happy affair on any given night. I have been receiving top football recruits highlight's from camps and workouts this off-season, as I recently obtained some footage of top 2022 LB recruit Lonnell Owens-Pabon in 7 on 7. As you will see in the Scout Trout YouTube video below, Lonnell is able to make contact inside the 5 yard yard barrier and quickly flip his hips to stay in the receivers hip pocket. He was able to key in on the receivers tendencies and realize the football was in the air, while getting his arm up to potentially break up the pass. Instead, he quickly located the football in the receivers arms and is able to strip the football away for an interception. He not only proves to be a significant force in the 8 man box, but also has outstanding coverage abilities and will be a fast rising 2022 LB recruit at College Football Today.

Top 2022 LB recruit John Paul Janik is a highly aggressive linebacker, who reads his keys instinctively and is able to shoot into the opponents backfield with outstanding acceleration to make bone crushing tackles. Janik can be seen lined up at both the MLB and OLB positions, as he is extremely versatile on the defensive side of the football and plays with a very high motor in the process. John uses his body very well when hog tying ball carriers and is very technically sound upon engagement, as he can be seen taking out the levers of opposing backs in his 2019 highlight's. He proves to have the ability to cover ground quickly, as he possesses uncanny agility for a 2022 LB recruit and never ceases from keeping his feet moving to finish tackles. I like the way he keeps his arms extended when engaging with O-linemen out of the edge and Janik is able to detach quickly to swarm to the football and make the tackle. Top 2022 LB recruit John Paul Janik has developed heavy interest across the landscape of collegiate football, as he carries a eye-popping 4.52 GPA and gained interest from Princeton, Mississippi St, UCF, West Florida, Valdosta St and University of Chicago. Janik plays with very active hands and uses a great repertoire of power & finesse moves to disengage from blockers, while being able to swarm to the football and bring ball carries to the turf. He plays with a low center of gravity and also could pan out to be a hard hitting SS/OLB in many defensive schemes, but his fast twitch and rapid reflexes I believe best suit him in getting after the Quarterback. From talking to multiple sources from camps he has attended, John is very sound in man to man & zone coverage and can easily cover Tight Ends, Inside Receivers, as well as running backs coming out of the backfield. Top 2021 football recruit ATH Mitch Cleaver is one of the most athletic under the radar recruits coming out of the Midwest and has consistently been able to run a 4.52,40 yard dash, which was verified by the Dear Creek Mackinaw coaching staff. Cleaver also was able to run a .96, 10 yard split, which proves his acceleration matches his excellent 2019 highlight's and he has freakish overall athletic combine skills, which he is able to translate to the gridiron of Illinois HS football. Top 2021 athlete recruit Mitch Cleaver is a multi-purpose athlete on the gridiron of Illinois and excels in all facets of the game of American football. Cleaver has the overall skill-set and athletic attributes to be a high caliber strong safety or OLB, at the next level and could also fit into an offensive role as a running back. Mitch is able to read plays quickly and attacks the football with tenacity, grit and is a very sure tackler upon arrival. He is able to cover sideline to sideline with his 4.5 speed and is able to take on blockers with brute force, while being able to disengage to make tackles. When evaluating him as a defensive OLB/SS, you can tell he loves to play physical up in the 8 man box and will be a big time contributor on a college defensive unit at the next level. Top 2021 ATH recruit Mitch Cleaver shows his agility, acceleration and closing speed starting on the third play in the film above. He proves to be a tenacious linebacker recruit when taking on lead blocks and is able to use his brute strength to disengage, while locating the ball carrier to make the tackle. He is able to stick his helmet on the football at around 1:13 into the Leroy highlight reel and dislodge the pigskin to cause a fumble. Mitch can be seen playing with a low center of gravity and is able to take out the legs of running backs, leaving them no choice but to come to a screeching halt. Many top 2023 football recruits excel in all phases of the game of American football and when projecting Winzer's best position fit, I see him molding into an elite receiving target in the world of College Football Today. He also has the capabilities to be a dynamic wildcat or dual-threat quarterback, as he is a naturally gifted runner and is able to create spectacular plays on the ground. Caden has excellent top end speed and can take the ball the distance in the open field at any given moment, as he does a great job at setting up his blockers when finding the cut-back lane. His acceleration is very impressive off the line of scrimmage and when wiggling through the defense, as he proves to be able to stop and start at a moments notice. He is a superior athlete inside the red-zone and can go up over most defenders, while catching the football at it's highest point. The hip flexion and mobility he demonstrates as a defensive back would bode well with his 6'3 frame, as he would make a magnificent over the top free safety and can cover a vast amount of space in the blink of an eye. The way Caden orchestrates the offense as a dual-threat quarterback is masterful, as he is able to make the proper reads and get motoring downfield to chew up yards in a hurry.
