Jared Pickens is a complete total package football prospect and is a brilliant up and coming Class of 2020 prospect at the Center and Long Snapper positions. Coming out of Lebanon Trail High School in Texas, Jared is seen using great technique in both the run and passing game, as he is one of the best interior linemen I have seen at finishing his blocks. Pickens shows great footwork in staying in front of his opponent when pass blocking and forming the pocket for his QB. Jared is one of the best snappers, as far as speed and accuracy are concerned in the nation, and has been ranked as the #1 Long snapper after watching how perfect he is able to deliver the ball to his QB and/or place holder. Jared is also an outstanding run blocker and after he completes his flawless shot-gun snaps, he is seen engaging and keeping his strong legs churning to completely control his defender, while finishing his blocks. Pickens is excellent at turning his defender the proper direction per play design and uses great technique that even Nick Saban himself took notice to at his 2016 and 2017 camps. Jared was named to the All-Saban Team as a Long Snapper and also as a Tight End in 2016, while in 2017 being named to the All-Saban Team as a Long Snapper once again. Being such a asset at so many different positions throughout Pickens young career shows the versatility he will bring the next few years to the field and when he arrives at the next level. Jared is able to snap the football between .2-.3 tenth's of a second back to his place holder, who is able to place the ball effortlessly to the turf, because of Jared's impeccable accuracy on his field goal snaps. The efficiency, timing and mechanics exhibited are some of the best in the game, and he can even snap the ball faster I am told if directed to. This young man has a scary resemblance to a hall of fame center named Mike Webster, who snapped for my father on the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pickens will be coming to snap and play all over the field at our 2019 Scout Trout All-American Bowl! There will plenty to update as the season goes on about this young man, as he is a consistent hard worker that works daily to perfect his craft, as well as being a stand-out student-athlete! ![]()
Brady Wachter attended this year's Scout Trout All-American Bowl and was able to qualify as an "early selection" Scout Trout Class of 2019 All-American. Brady is an extremely fun young man to be around, and his passion for the game of football is remarkably apparent after getting to spend time with him and his family in Mobile. Brady is a monster on the interior defensive line, as seen in his junior highlights above and is an immovable wrecking ball for Trinity Christian Academy. Brady shows a great push off the snap and is able to create penetration into the backfield and get the QB on his heels when utilizing last year's pass bull rush technique. Wachter shows great pursuit and high motor for such a big young man, and never gives up on a play, always being trusted by his defense to do his job on the interior defensive line. Brady has run an impressive 5.5-second 40 yard dash, which is highly impressive for his weight. From watching Brady's play on the defensive side of the football, I believe he would be a really good fit as an offensive Guard as well because of the quickness and tenacity he possesses once engaged in the trenches. I want to thank Brady and the Wachter family for being a part of the Scout Trout family, as they were a blessing to have help us out and be around at the 2018 Scout Trout All-American Bowl. Brady has already visited the Florida Gators, and he just has received mail from Lenoir Rhyne! Brady will be a big time prospect come fall as a Class of 2019 Scout Trout Early Selection Class of 2019 All-American, and we look forward to seeing you guys again!

Evan Wethington is one of the quickest and most effective blockers we have seen for the class of 2019 out of the great football state of Florida. With a 4.98 weighted GPA and a 1270 SAT, Evan also exhibits extremely good footwork for a offensive linemen. In the first play of his highlights, Evan is able provide perfect pass protection and pancakes the defensive end with great technique. Evan is a dominant force in the running game and keeps his feet moving until he finishes the pancake block, leaving defenders to ask why they are playing the game while laying flat on their backs. Wethington is an excellent pulling Guard and plays with a passion, as seen at around 1 Minute into his film, where he never gives up on the play and demonstrates a very intense motor. Projecting upside is a major reason why we have been successful at Scout Trout and with this young man's skill set and overall body of work, he could wind up either in the IVY League or a Power 5 conference, as he exhibits every characteristic of a Class of 2019 Scout Trout All-American and is officially invited with all of are other spectacular student-athletes who came down to compete! Evan signed up for our Pipeline program while we were conducting our Scout Trout Bowl weekend, and we are extremely excited to add him to our already extremely talented roster! Congrats Evan on being a early selection, at the Guard position for the Class of 2019 Scout Trout Bowl Series!

Benjamin VanGalder is a very quick and effective defensive linemen, who comes from Spencer Van Etten High School in New York. Ben shows great technique with his swim move and is able to get into the backfield quickly with his great quickness for a big man. With a 4.0 GPA, Ben shows great overall strength at the defensive tackle position and I expect a big senior season, after this young man had a outstanding junior year. Ben is outstanding on the offensive line and fires off the ball to engage quickly, while being able to keep his feet moving and pushing his man downfield. Ben is also very effective as a pulling guard and shows very good footwork when pass block blocking. VanGalder will be working hard this season and will be be a a great addition to any college football offensive or defensive lines, after the completion of his already stellar high school career. VanGalder has been added to the newly formed Scout Trout All-American watch list!

Dylan Trapp is an extremely strong 6'5,290LB beast in the middle of a defense and is also a outstanding offensive linemen, out of Rivercrest HS, Arkansas. Dylan starts his nearly 39 minute highlight off with a beautiful punt downfield and then proceeds to show his dominance on the defensive and offensive side of the football. Dylan moves extremely well for his size and is a excellent pass protecter, as a blind side tackle. Trapp is a force in the middle of a defense and shows his speed in being able to track down ball carriers, combined with a very high motor. Trapp starts to show his pancake blocks about 3 minutes into his highlights and he shows very good technique, as he keeps his legs moving in order to finish the block. Dylan looks extremely athletic for his size when pulling and around 3:30 into his film, you will see him take his man for a ride downfield, once again using outstanding blocking technique. As a former Linebacker, Dylan is one of the linemen I would not let get his hands on me, as he will direct your path in a tenacious way. When at defensive tackle, Dylan will automatically draw a double or triple team, as he is to much for one blocker to handle, which in turn will create great opportunities for his linebackers. I am extremely pleased this extremely nimble 6'5,290LB elite student-athlete has accepted his invitation as a Scout Trout All-American and will be heading to Prichard, Alabama for our Class of 2018 All-American game!
