Watters earned 1st team All-State in Michigan and has some of the best skedaddling skills I have witnessed on tape. Alex has the speed to blow the top off the defense and take the ball the distance at any given moment. He is a very precise route runner who can stop and start on a moments notice, as he has excellent acceleration and wiggle when making his way through heavy traffic. Watters is an electrifying punt return man and exhibits outstanding top end speed when breaking into the open field to leave defenders in the dust. He has been able to demonstrate consistent bedazzling play since his Freshmen year on Varsity, in both football and basketball, as he proves to be an All-American slot wide receiver who can also make acrobatic catches that should impress any college football recruiter nationally. WR/ATH Whit Johnson Class of 2022 Cherokee County HS (AL) 6'0", 175 GPA - 3.5 Player notes - Top 2022 WR/ATH recruit Whit Johnson is an electrifying ball carrier in the return game and is one of the most athletic wide receiver recruits coming out of the talented State of Alabama. I pinned his most recent highlight above his mid-season tape, as Whit proves to have impeccable concentration and superior ball skills. At around 1:26, Johnson can be witnessed hauling in a touchdown one handed while in full stride and dealing with obvious pass interference is the process. He is able to set defenders up nicely in the beginning of his route progression and exhibits very good body control when catching the football on the sidelines, as well as in heavy traffic. Whit is used primarily in a college spread style attack and is very quick to get to edge of the defense, when receiving speed sweeps and screen passes. He proves to have the agility and vision to make defenders miss, as he can stop and start on a dime when skedaddling down the field. His speed is best witnessed at around 1:04 into his mid-season highlight's, as he is able to catch a quick out and flip his hips up the field quickly before running away from the defense for a long touchdown. WR Collin Matteson Class of 2022 Oklahoma Christian School (OK) 6'0", 175 GPA - 4.11 ACT - 25 Player notes - Top 2022 WR recruit Collin Matteson is a ball hawk over the top free safety, who is able to diagnose plays quickly and jump passes for interceptions or pass break-ups. Matteson is also very physical when coming up into the 8 man box from the safety position and can be witnessed accelerating downhill in the run game, while driving through his opponent with outstanding overall tackling technique and brute strength. Collin is a very gifted 2022 wide receiver recruit and is able to create separation with his outstanding athletics, as well as stellar route running abilities and can be seen chewing up massive yards after the catch.Collin does an excellent job at high pointing the football when going over the top of the defense and also when flying around creating havoc in the defensive backfield. Matteson is able to set defenders up at the start of his route progression and very cunningly is able to change speeds, as well as direction in a flash. When lined up in the backfield, he shows great overall acceleration and is able to quickly locate the cut-back lane, while maneuvering his was through traffic for touchdowns. With some of the best academics I have seen in the 2022 football recruiting class and his brilliant style of play on both sides of the football, Matteson will be one of the fastest rising recruits coming out of the Midwest and is being added to the College Football Today Top 2022 ATH recruit rankings. |

WR/K/P Devery Cagle Class of 2022 Eastside HS (SC) 6'0", 175 GPA - 4.58 Player notes - Top 2022 WR/K/P Devery Cagle was ranked the number one all-purpose receiver in the State of South Carolina and has arguably one of the strongest kicking legs in the 2022 football recruiting class. Cagle is a dynamic offensive weapon, who runs exceptional routes and is a very sure handed receiver when maneuvering through heavy traffic. Devery also is able to chew up huge chunks of yardage after the catch, while being able to adjust his body accordingly to make game changing receptions. As a specialist, Cagle is the best I have seen thus far in the class of 2022 and he is able to get very good ball lift in his 2019 highlight's on his field goals. In a recent workout I found on Twitter, Cagle was able to go 34-50 on field goal attempts from 50 yards out. His punts shot off his wicked fast leg and were able to hang around 4.2-4.3 seconds, which is phenomenal for a 2022 punter recruit. He finishes his workout, while working on his balance and showing off his impeccable concentration and soft receiving hands. Top 2022 WR/K/P Devery Cagle excels as both a wide receiver and as specialist, as he is one of the most coordinated overall athletes in the nation. Top 2022 football recruit Devery Cagle has been added to our Top 2022 ATH recruits at College Football Today and will rank highly as both a receiver, as well as specialist recruit when we release them in the near future. WR/H Trent Scheuerman Class of 2022 Wheeler HS (GA) 6'3", 225 GPA - 3.8 Player Notes - After evaluating some tape on Trent Scheuerman out of Wheeler HS in Georgia, I believe he is on track in becoming an elite TE/WR recruit for the next level. With the prestigious IVY League program UPENN having shown major interest in Trent, his recruitment has started early and for very good reason. Trent is seen in his film on Hudl firing off the football very quickly and engages effectively with extended arms to create a beautiful running lane for the ball carrier on the first play. On the next play, Trent is able to turn his blocking assignment out per play play design very easily and once again demonstrates outstanding technique. I am very eager to watch Trent play this up and coming season in the talent rich state of Georgia, as a top 2022 TE recruit on College Football Today RokFin and will be following his progression this season at Scout Trout Elite. |

WR/DB Anthony Redix Class of 2022 Salesian HS (CA) 6'2",206 GPA - 3.6 Player notes - Top 2022 WR/DB Anthony Redix was a big time receiving target during his senior season at Salesian HS in California and proved to be a dynamic threat in their high powered aerial assault. Redix is explosive off the line of scrimmage and is an excellent route runner, who possesses immaculate concentration when hauling in passes in immense traffic over the top of the defense. He demonstrates outstanding body control when adjusting to the football in flight and is able to perfectly position himself in accordance to bounce quickly off the turf to haul in receptions.
