OC/OG Chance Jackson Class of 2022 The Woodlands College Park (TX) 6'1", 283 GPA - 4.0 Player notes - The College Football Today number two overall offensive center recruit Chance Jackson is one of the most athletic centers I have witnessed on tape in the 2022 football recruiting class. Jackson is able to execute the snap and gain leverage in a hurry, as he has one of the best engage to pancake ratios as an OC recruit and is able to finish his blocks with tenacity. He is bigger than my father's old teammate Mike Webster, but possesses the same brute strength and quickness that the Hall of Fame OC used to execute blocks that won four Super Bowls. I was very impressed with his footwork in his pass sets, which have grown exponentially this off-season. Chance is not only one of the hardest workers on the interior line, but also possesses a 4.0 GPA and can handle the vigorous task of calling out pass protections in the world of College Football Today. OT Garrett Masterson Class of 2022 Lapeer HS (MI) 6'7", 298 GPA - 3.0 Player notes - Top 2022 OT recruit Garrett Masterson stands all bit of 6'6,300 pounds and is able to move defenders against their will per play design with outstanding technique. He has very good feet for his size and is a mauler in the trenches for Lapeer HS in Michigan. While Garrett is still growing into his enormous frame at only 15 years of age, he was able to excel at a high level on Varsity in his Sophomore season campaign. OT Kadin Lynch Class of 2022 Asheville HS (NC) 6'4", 300 GPA - 4.3 ACT - 27 Player notes - Top 2022 OT recruit Kadin Lynch is a monstrous O-Line recruit, who plays with great leverage and has very quick feet for his enormous stature. Lynch uses very good hand placement and has a wicked first punch that is able to collapse his opponent to the turf. He has a very solid overall engage to pancake ratio and fires of the football very quick, while never ceasing movement of his powerful base and takes defenders for a ride. Lynch is very effective in his pass blocking sets and can be seen once again manhandling his opponents in the trenches of North Carolina. TOP 2022 OT/DT Jake Sanders Class of 2022 Rockcastle County HS (KY) 6'6", 290 GPA - 3.8 Player notes - Top 2022 All-American OT/DT recruit Jake Sanders is extremely quick off the line of scrimmage and is a very agile 2022 linemen out of the State of Kentucky. Sanders excels in the trenches on both sides of the football and is one of the quickest OT's I have witnessed on tape when getting to the second level of the defense. Jake also exhibits excellent footwork for his large stature, which can be attributed to his stellar play on the hardwood and he keeps his feet motoring to pummel his opponents upon engagement. When lined up at DT, Jake has very active and quick hands when plowing his was through opposing linemen and uses his athleticism, as well as high motor to wreak havoc in opposing backfields. What is most intriguing to me about Jake is how quickly he fires off the football, but he is also very adept at using quick and combative hands to break his way through double teams at the nose guard postilion. Sanders will be lining up both at NG and OT in the 2021 College Football Today & Scout Trout All-American Bowl game and I am very excited to utilize him as a 3-4 NG in the Scout Trout Steel Curtain defensive alignment. |
