Justin Cuellar has had an amazing overall career playing for Big Spring High School and is looking to bring his aggressive style of play to the collegiate level. Cuellar shows great tackling ability for a defensive back and gets the football very quickly, as his acceleration is some of the best you will see at the high school level. Justin shows great overall balance as a ball carrier and can change direction in a instant, as seen on the second play of high final chapter highlights. Justin comes off the corner on the next play of his tape and is able to get to the QB very quickly for a sack! Justin would work great as a Nickel back, at the next level and show the athletic prowess to get the job done at high capacity. Justin shows great intensity and speed coming off the edge and tracking the ball carrier down from behind a few plays later–once again being able to make a great play on the ball using superior athleticism. Justin reminds me of Tyrann Mathieu in the way he flies to the football and makes aggressive plays for his defense. He is not afraid to play up in the box and will light you up when give the opportunity. Justin is an outstanding overall ball player, who is looking to prove he not only compete at the college level, but create valuable turnovers for his team and bring intensity into every battle. We welcome Class of 2018 standout high school football player, Justin Cuellar to the Scout Trout family!

Aaron Watkins is a very elusive power back who hails from Ontario, Canada and will be leading Team Canada into our first ever Scout Trout CanAmerican game. Aaron showed a very keen ability to find the openings in what was an extremely stout Team South defense. What intrigued me the most about this gifted young runner was his spectacular power and lower body strength when finishing runs, along with his elusiveness to create running space to maintain positive progression downfield. Watkins starts his film out with an extraordinary jump cut, which verifies his 3.86 shuttle which he mastered at our combine at Sage Park the morning of the bowl game. Scampering onto the open field, using his low center of gravity to break tackles is what Aaron Watkins does best, and his powerful style of running will make him a work horse back for any college football team. On the 2nd play of Watkins' highlights, you will witness him take a would be loss in the backfield and make the linebacker look lost with another beautiful move to break into the open field. Aaron uses slight changes of speed very well to keep defenders guessing on his next running destination and is able to elude defenders extremely well with his ability to break tackles after tackle in his illustrious career in Canada. Aaron shows outstanding vision on the next run of his 4 minute game highlight and once again is able to plow through defenders en-route to pay dirt, as he is truly a sight to see on the gridiron. Aaron has one of the best side steps off the ball I have seen and shows impeccable vision when carrying the football downfield. Watkins is shown once again, letting the play develop and barreling through the hole on his way for another score. With primetime agility and speed, Aaron has a burning desire to get better and has all of the tools to be a elite back in the world of college football! I am extremely pleased to be working with him and his family to better the recruiting process for the other players in Canada and compete at a high level with our Scout Trout Team America prospects.

Justin Jones is my first selection for Team America and has officially been invited to join us, as we embark on our journey to the far north to take on the elite Scout Trout prospects from Canada. With the events being strategically planned by our friends from Canada (All Hail Watkins Family), we have begun our search for the best roster of prospects who aspire to take their games to the next level. We have been in talks with prospects from nearly every bordering state and in our talent rich areas of West Virginia and Ohio about obtaining passports and making the trip up to Canada this Spring/Summer.
Jones is able to pretty much do anything with a football and it is a big part of why he has been an early selection for Team America. Jones is one of the fastest players we have seen at Scout Trout and was able to post unbelievable 40-yard dash times at our Scout Trout All-American Bowl combine portion. He was also able to jump 10'0 on the Broad Jump, which is 2nd place overall behind a 10'3 jumped at our Illinois combine by Michael Johnson. Jones is one of those players who you can game plan with, much like the players listed below, who all happen to be game-changing players who are the top producers in the nation offensively for the 2015 college football season. With 12-man Canadian Football rules being implemented, Jones will be a game changer with his athletics, football IQ, and ability to throw the football for Team North. Jones is also an outstanding defensive back and is able to really stay in a receiver's hip pocket better then most I have seen at his level. I am excited about his overall effective style of play that will be beneficial to any college football unit.
