TOp 2021 DUAL-THREAT QB 6'0,185 RYAN WILKERSON ELYSIAN FIELDS HS (TX) ELITE SCOUTING REPORT5/7/2020 TOP 2021 DUAL QB RECRUITS![]()
Top 2021 Dual-Threat QB recruits should be fully equipped athletically to operate at a high level in both the run and passing game, while possessing leadership qualities that will translate to wins in the world of College Football Today. Ryan Wilkerson had a breakout season for Elysian Fields in 2019 and was able to throw for over 2,300 yards and 17 TD's, while also being able to rush for over 1,400 yards and 14 TD's on the ground. Wilkerson is highly adept at delivering precisely timed darts downfield to his receivers and is one of the most electrifying athletes you will witness operating the spread option attack. When you watch All-State Texas QB Ryan Wilkerson below, you will see why we believe he has Heisman Trophy athletic attributes that will transition into a winning dual-threat QB at College Football Today. Read more below!
2021 TOP QB RECRUITS![]()
Texas is loaded with 2021 top QB recruits and Ryan Wilkerson's impressive body of work has warranted an outstanding S.T.E.P rating at College Football Today. As you will see on the first play, Wilkerson sets up extremely well in the pocket and has an outstanding "release point", which creates perfect trajectory on his deep ball. He proves to have excellent body weight transitioning when decisively whipping the ball down field and can throw from multiple arm angles on the run. His quickness in the spread option game is very impressive and he shows very good top end speed, as he is able to skedaddle away from defenders en-route to the end-zone. Moving along into the film above, Ryan is able to demonstrate his arm strength on a perfectly placed corner route and he places the football precisely over the top of two defenders. As you will notice once again, Wilkerson is able to throw his receiver open with impeccable timing and his release point is flawless on the corner route, at around :44 seconds into his very impressive 2019 highlight's. Ryan is able to use subtle pump fakes to draw the defense out of coverage and quickly reloads to deliver the football over the top of the blown coverage. Ryan also can be seen throwing one of the most well-timed fades at 1:38 into his highlight's, that drops over the right shoulder of his receiver in prime location. Much like Scott Frost, Ryan wastes no time after making his option read and hits the running lane at full tilt, as he has outstanding acceleration.
TOP DUAL THREAT QUARTERBACKS![]()
When talking about Elite top dual threat quarterbacks, Nebraska Heisman Trophy winner Scott Frost was ultimately the best at leading his teams to victory. After transferring from Stanford after his sophomore season, Frost was able to lead arguably one of the most dynamic option offenses in the history of American football to a 24-2 record in his two seasons with the Huskers. His stats are not going to blow you away, but it was rather his leadership skills and vast knowledge of the game of football that ultimately helped lead the Huskers to Co-National Champions in 1997. The ground and pound attack that featured Ahman Green, as well as a very witty and athletic quarterback in Coach Frost, was able to captivate crowds and befuddle defenses every Saturday during the undefeated run in 1997. In my opinion, I think Ryan Wilkerson has the potential to be better than Coach Frost and the many legendary Dual-Threat QB's that have come before him in the world of College Football Today. Go luck this season Coach! Follow Coach Frost on Twitter by clicking HERE!

TOp 2023 FOOTBALL RECRUIT 6'0,190 QB Tayden Carpenter Ironton HS (OH) ELITE SCOUTING REPORT5/5/2020 TOP 2023 FOOTBALL RECRUITS![]() College Football Today released their top 2023 football recruits towards the end of the 2019 season and has seen many outstanding young men start to receive verbal offers to play at the next level. Throughout the process of evaluating top 2023 football recruits, I stumbled upon a young man from Ironton, Ohio, who I believe has the potential to be a game changer the next three years in Southern Ohio and in the world of College Football Today. Having acquired half of Team North for the 2018 Scout Trout All-American Bowl from the Southern Ohio region, I heard whispers of a young man who also exuded the mental and physical toughness of some of the best players to come out of the talent rich State of Ohio. When I finally got to flip on Top 2023 QB recruit Tayden Carpenter's tape, I realized that he possesses Tebow like dual-threat capabilities and could be one of the most gifted passers in the 2023 recruiting class. Tayden will look to fill the shoes of 2020 Youngstown State Penguin commit Gage Saylers, who helped lead Ironton to a 12-2 record in 2019 and Carpenter's ability to orchestrate a college style offense will be lighting up the scoreboard for Fighting Tigers. Check out Tayden's 2019 highlight's and read more below! TOP 2023 QB RECRUIT![]() Top 2023 QB recruit Tayden Carpenter checks all the boxes when it comes to overall QB technique and exhibits outstanding footwork in the pocket. Carpenter is able to deliver the football using excellent body weight transition and has great torso whip, as well as a very strong upper body. Operating out of a spread style pistol formation, Tayden is able to create space with his legs while avoiding pressure and delivers precise eye-level darts to his receiving targets. He proves to have a very strong arm when hurling the ball deep downfield and is able to use his quick release to throw his receivers open downfield with great timing. Working under center out of the I-Formation at around :55 seconds, Carpenter can be seen in play-action setting up extremely quickly, while standing tall in the pocket to deliver a "Dilfer Dime" on a deep corner route that goes for a touchdown. TOP 2023 DUAL QUARTERBACK![]() Tayden could be considered a top 2023 dual quarterback, as he is able to evade pass rushers instinctively and is an extremely gifted runner in the open field. When you witness how elusive he is at making defenders miss and combine that with his physical downhill style of running, you are reminded of Heisman Trophy winning quarterback Tim Tebow. Much like the former Denver Bronco playoff winning QB, Tayden uses a combination of raw athletics and a brutalizing stiff arm, while chewing up chunks of yardage for the Fighting Tigers offense. When comparing the two even further, Tayden's 6'0,190 LB frame bodes well for being a very durable dual-threat QB, who can take a beating and still deliver in the clutch. They also both have a devout faith in God that is unbreakable, but that is an entire story for another day. You start to see why Ironton has become a popular destination for college recruiters, when you study the style of offense they have their players running at a very young age. Tayden is very fun to watch operating in a RPO style spread attack and is extremely nifty with his pump fakes, as he is able to make reads decisively and can create magic with his legs if a play breaks down. In the screen-shot below. Tayden can be seen reading the DT penetrating the gap and quickly is able to pull the football, while being able to quickly outflank the defense by tossing a dart to his receiving target for a touchdown. After evaluating thousands of Quarterbacks the past five years, I haven't found many that are as technically refined in all facets of what it takes to excel in multiple college style schemes like top 2023 QB recruit Tayden Carpenter. RIVALS FAKE FOOTBALL RECRUITAfter analyzing the Rivals Fake football recruit and how a few Alabama high school football students successfully cat-fished Rivals.com, I began to realize the many reasons or "why's" of the college football recruiting rankings process. Read more from back in May of 2020 below! ![]() Modern day college football recruiting has made it hard for high school players to continue to develop their process on and off the field. While some are able to stick to a regiment and are consistently improving, many will dwell on the mainstream media, Twitter & others as their go to source. Typically, those that fall by the wayside are the ones who get entangled in the spider web of gossip, stars and deceit. What most successful college coaches want is warriors that are able to minimize outside distractions and focus all of their energy into becoming better overall men, while being a key contributor on the football field and in their communities. I have learned the past five years of studying the college football recruiting media, that star rankings rarely has led to producing wins on the football field and has failed top football recruits in it's entirety. They have a million examples of where this 3, 4 or 5 star ended up, but they failed to tell you that they added him to their website AFTER he gained some notoriety from the NFL or receive a D1 offer. That is what we like to call "Piggy Backing" the system by using Twitter and the word of recruits to justify national recruit rankings. This creates the stories that can be sold for subscriptions on Rivals and other platforms, as college football fan bases are built off tribalism and they are eager to know where that overrated five star player will sign. When he arrives on campus and gets manhandled by a walk-on in practice, Rivals and 247 will jump back in and talk about the tail spin that this young man's life must be in, who they deemed a five star recruit. According to NCAA rules, the media is not allowed to speak with college coaches or staff members about recruiting, which makes it intriguing to me how they claim to have so much insider information that gets spewed all over the world wide web. Are we behind as a society in terms of figuring out how we have become puppets dangling on strings? Maybe, but on this side of the smoke and mirrors, we are just happy that we understand the manipulative games that are being played throughout our industry that are in line with modern day American politics. TOP COLLEGE FOOTBALL RECRUIT![]() It is not easy to raise a top college football recruit with the inconsistencies and lack of knowledge that is displayed throughout the football recruiting media world. My father always told me not to believe anything I read in the media about me personally, whether it be negative or positive news. He clearly knew that it was completely opinion based and held no bearing on the future, as he lived through both circumstances. I found a blog that stated my father was the worst kicker in NFL History in a year that he was 4th in the AFC and 7th in the NFL in field goal accuracy. They formed the opinion off of one game where my father broke the record for missed extra points in a football game. They did not know that he had completely shredded his hamstring kicking off days prior and the 1981 Steelers did not have enough time to sign a leg for that weekend's contest. Given he had no choice, Dave Trout still owns the NFL record for most missed PAT's in a game. After that season, he went on to become the All-Time League Leading scorer in the United States Football League and won a few championships with Jim Mora Sr, Captain Joe Marciano & the legendary NFL GM Carl Peterson. By looking back at past circumstances, evidence and intricacies in the athletes process, as well as the mainstream media's created illusion, we are able to move forward knowing that they create a narrative based off of feelings, rather than fact based evidence. All in all, the lesson learned must first come to each individual athlete and ingrained into their mental consciousness, so that they can stay on course on their individual path to success. FOOTBALL RECRUITING 101There is no precise science to football recruiting 101 and you will see many articles across the internet that are pretty much just fabricated malarkey created to entice you to ultimately pay them. Most of the websites will claim to be free like BeRecruited, but sadly that website was created as nothing but a "lead generator" to up-sell recruits to the company we know as NCSA. Going even further., NCSA owns Captian U and GoBigRecruiting, as it appears as their name gets tarnished on one platform, they simply re-create another with a brand new image. This could either be the "trial and error" affect or purely money motivated, but I myself can't justify having more than two platforms that serve very clear and direct purposes. After much research the past five years, I also realized that 90% of these databases are locked and charge a subscription fee to college coaches. I honestly know for fact that 99% of FBS & FCS teams do not sign up for these types of services, as they have rather large recruiting budgets and staff members are very adept at finding top football recruits in the world of College Football Today. Technology like Google, Twitter, Email Servers and other tools have increased coaches awareness of the landscape of football recruiting like never before. Many coaches who did not recruit a certain area in years past, have been spotted recruiting new regions on their recruiting map and putting their footprint in that specific area. TOP FOOTBALL RECRUITSTop football recruits will be re-ranked the entire month of May at College Football Today and the next few days we will be releasing scouting reports for pipeline program members. The pipeline college football recruiting program is not an advantage, but provides an equal playing field and platform to EARN the right to play football on scholarship in the world of College Football Today.
