Football Combine Training

Class of 2019 and Beyond Showcase

My class of 2018 athlete's who have mastered their combine and football technique's, will be demonstrating with Scout Trout for our younger athlete's.  

• 40 yard dash (Detail oriented techniques have shaved at least .2 tenth's off each athlete's time) Paying attention to detail is a must for college coaches to recruit you!
• 5-10-5 Shuttle (Once again, pay attention to details, tenth's of a second is like snapping your fingers!) 
• Broad Jump - Scout Trout floats on grass in this drill - Technique training and demonstrations on each drill before athlete's test
• L-Drill - Adam Primm will be showing you the best L-Drill ever ran for a HS athlete! 
• ​Bench Press - 185 X or 225 X 

Top Quarterback Trainer

• Technique/Throwing motion assessment (Touch passes, Darts and Bombs) 
• College route concepts, timing routes. 
• College option game (veer, mid-line, power option, triple option, speed option)
• Throw for one on one's 
• 7 on 7 (Possibly with flag's)

Linebackers

• Form Tackling, The rugby way never fails, KILL THE LEVERS DRILL!

Defensive Back's 

• Back pedal and hip rotation drills, break on the ball. 
• Man and Zone coverage techniques, play recognition and jam technique
• One On Ones with Receivers/Backs
• Form Tackling - Killing the levers 
• Overall technique then the ball is throw in the air and how to know when it is coming - Scout Trout' Hip Pocket technique. 
• DB blitz packages and drills to disengage from blockers

LInemen 

• Hand placement/Pass Sets/Run Blocking technique for OL. (I encourage athlete's to play on both side of the football) 
• D-Line will be working their individual moves and learning new technique to dominate the line of scrimmage. (Bull Rush/Solar shot), Swim Move, Rip and Quick Spin. 
• DE's will be learning various pass drops, that are used to create turnovers! 
• We will be conducting a hog wild challenge, that will feature the OL/DL obstacle course. 
• Blocking scheme's (zone running and play concepts, pulling and maintaining leverage to finish with a pancake block.

Specialist 

Learn How To Kick A Football

• Scout Trout Pro Field Goal Chart 
• Kickoff Chart (6 each way) for hang time and distance 
• Directional Kickoffs (3 each side) For Hang time and Location 
• Snap, Hold and Kick (Full Operation with LS)
• Long snappers will be timed on field goal snaps and punt snaps, along with location/accuracy of snap. 
• Punters will be punting open field punts for distance/hang time, directional punts for hang time, distance and accuracy. Also, will be conducting inside the 20 punts with long snapper and gunners going to down the football. 
• Return men that want to catch kicks will be involved in these drills, as well.
