ATH Collin Matteson Class of 2022 Oklahoma Christian School (OK) 6'0", 175 GPA - 4.11 ACT - 25 Player notes - Top 2022 ATH recruit Collin Matteson is a ball hawk over the top free safety, who is able to diagnose plays quickly and jump passes for interceptions or pass break-ups. Matteson is also very physical when coming up into the 8 man box from the safety position and can be witnessed accelerating downhill in the run game, while driving through his opponent with outstanding overall tackling technique and brute strength. Collin is a very gifted 2022 wide receiver recruit and is able to create separation with his outstanding athletics, as well as stellar route running abilities and can be seen chewing up massive yards after the catch.Collin does an excellent job at high pointing the football when going over the top of the defense and also when flying around creating havoc in the defensive backfield. Matteson is able to set defenders up at the start of his route progression and very cunningly is able to change speeds, as well as direction in a flash. When lined up in the backfield, he shows great overall acceleration and is able to quickly locate the cut-back lane, while maneuvering his was through traffic for touchdowns. With some of the best academics I have seen in the 2022 football recruiting class and his brilliant style of play on both sides of the football, Matteson will be one of the fastest rising recruits coming out of the Midwest and is being added to the College Football Today Top 2022 ATH recruit rankings. |

His hard work on and off the field has paid off, as he earned his first D1 offer on May 25th from New Mexico and is one of the best all around players coming out of the State of California. I believe Eric is a brilliant dual-threat quarterback when evaluating tape and has the skill-set to be a game changer at the next level. He has been training as a lock down defensive back and is very sound in man to man coverage from observing him in 1 on 1's with the "Turn Up Man" out in California and he has been added to our Top 2022 ATH recruit rankings at College Football Today. |

TE/WR Trent Scheuerman Class of 2022 Wheeler HS (GA) 6'3", 225 GPA - 3.8 Player Notes - After evaluating some tape on Trent Scheuerman out of Wheeler HS in Georgia, I believe he is on track in becoming an elite TE/WR recruit for the next level. With the prestigious IVY League program UPENN having shown major interest in Trent, his recruitment has started early and for very good reason. Trent is seen in his film on Hudl firing off the football very quickly and engages effectively with extended arms to create a beautiful running lane for the ball carrier on the first play. On the next play, Trent is able to turn his blocking assignment out per play play design very easily and once again demonstrates outstanding technique. I am very eager to watch Trent play this up and coming season in the talent rich state of Georgia, as a top 2022 TE recruit on College Football Today RokFin and will be following his progression this season at Scout Trout Elite. |

WR/K/P Devery Cagle Class of 2022 Eastside HS (SC) 6'1", 175 GPA - 4.58 Player notes - Top 2022 WR/K/P Devery Cagle was ranked the number one all-purpose receiver in the State of South Carolina and has arguably one of the strongest kicking legs in the 2022 football recruiting class. Cagle is a dynamic offensive weapon, who runs exceptional routes and is a very sure handed receiver when maneuvering through heavy traffic. Devery also is able to chew up huge chunks of yardage after the catch, while being able to adjust his body accordingly to make game changing receptions. As a specialist, Cagle is the best I have seen thus far in the class of 2022 and he is able to get very good ball lift in his 2019 highlight's on his field goals. In a recent workout I found on Twitter, Cagle was able to go 34-50 on field goal attempts from 50 yards out. His punts shot off his wicked fast leg and were able to hang around 4.2-4.3 seconds, which is phenomenal for a 2022 punter recruit. He finishes his workout, while working on his balance and showing off his impeccable concentration and soft receiving hands. Top 2022 WR/K/P Devery Cagle excels as both a wide receiver and as specialist, as he is one of the most coordinated overall athletes in the nation. Top 2022 football recruit Devery Cagle has been added to our Top 2022 ATH recruits at College Football Today and will rank highly as both a receiver, as well as specialist recruit when we release them in the near future. ATH Jackson Kovarik Class of 2022 Howell HS (MI) 6'0", 185 GPA - 3.8 Player notes - Top 2022 ATH recruit Jackson Kovarik excels in all three phases of the game for Howell HS and is one of the most versatile overall 2022 football recruits coming out of the talent rich State of Michigan. Jackson is one of the most exhilarating return men I have evaluated on tape and has the athletic capabilities to take the football the distance, while proving to be a dominant force on both sides of the football. Kovarik projects extremely well as a top tier FS or SS, as he proves to have the ability to read plays instinctively and quickly transition his body to make a play on the football. His skills on the offensive side of the football also project him as a top flight ball carrier, as he is able to use his uncanny agility to quickly burst through the cut-back lane upon recognition and leave defenders in the dust with his blazing 4.48, 40 speed. When lined up wide at receiver, Jackson is able to quickly fire off the line of scrimmage and get over the top of the defense, while being able to quickly locate the football to create huge plays down the field for the Howell offense and will be a prime candidate for the 2022 HS All-American Bowl roster with his overall dynamic play-making abilities. |

ATH Gabe Morris Class of 2022 Mayflower HS (AR) 5'7", 150 GPA - 4.0 Top 2022 ATH recruit Gabe Morris is an electrifying football player on both sides of the football and excels in the return game on the gridiron of Arkansas high school football. Morris is a crisp and precise route runner, who is able to create separation in a flash with his keen style of play. Morris sets defenders up extremely well when operating out of the slot and can stop & start on a dime, while leaving defenders in the dust. Pound for pound Morris is one of the best defensive players in the nation and also projects well as CB or Nickel back recruit at the next level. I really love his overall skill-set on the offensive side of the football and he has had a great start to the 2020 season as the premiere back for Mayflower HS. LB/RB Tyriek Mays-Mckoy Class of 2022 Whitman HS (NY) 6'3,200 GPA - 2.8 Player notes - When it comes to insane raw athletic abilities at the LB position, not many match-up to new Top 2022 ATH recruit Tyriek Mays-McKoy and he also is a powerful downhill RB, who can take over a game from start to finish. Tyriek could be used as a high octane edge rusher and is also very proficient at stopping the run, but his ball hawk attributes in the passing game are what separate him from many in his class. In my opinion, Mays-Mckoy could transition masterfully into a SS/OLB role at the power five level and has all of the tools to be a College Football All-American SS/OLB. ATH Ahman Williams-Higgins Class of 2022 Hirschi HS (TX) 5'9",160 GPA - 3.1 Player notes - Top 2022 ATH recruit Ahman Williams-Higgins has exceptional speed, burst and agility playing as both a slot/APB and on the defensive side of the football. He is able to create separation in his route running and gets out of his breaks quickly, as he is extremely effective out on the edge of the defense. At any given moment, Ahman exhibits the ability to take the football the distance, as he gets his shoulders squared once clearing the edge and has outstanding acceleration when motoring through traffic. He is a very physical APB recruit and can be seen delivering bone crushing blocks for his Husky teammates downfield, while possessing a very high overall football IQ. Williams-Higgins plays with a very high motor on the defensive side of the ball and can be witnessed tracking down ball carriers from behind with his electric speed, while never giving up on a play. He projects very well playing in the slot or as a defensive back at the next level and will certainly be a name to keep an eye on coming out of Hirschi HS in Texas. ATH Rain Nolan Class of 2022 Winfield HS (AL) 6'0", 160 GPA - 3.1 Player notes - New top 2022 ATH recruit Rain Nolan excels in all three phases in the game of American football and is a very sure handed receiver while operating out of the slot. Nolan is also an explosive kick return man and shows off his 4.6 speed throughout his Scout Trout YouTube junior season highlight's. Once Rain gets rolling downhill either as a ball carrier or on kickoff, he proves to possess the physicality needed to play at the next level and is able to run right through his opponent, while breaking into the open field or finding the ball carrier to deliver devastating blows. He is an excellent stalk blocker and is able to use outstanding hand placement while piling driving his blocking assignment into the turf, I love the way he goes up and snags the football on the sideline at around :39 seconds into his junior season highlight's, as he also is able to show excellent body control and concentration. With his overall physical abilities, Nolan also makes a great defensive back and proves to have the grit needed to take down ball carriers up near the 8 man box. . We will be adding more clips to his 2020 highlight's, but from watching the way he operates on the gridiron of Alabama HS football. I believe he will be a key contributor for whatever college football program he lands with. |
