DB Collin Matteson Class of 2022 Oklahoma Christian School (OK) 6'0,175 GPA - 4.14 ACT - 24 Player notes - Top 2022 ATH recruit Collin Matteson is a ball hawk over the top free safety, who is able to diagnose plays quickly and jump passes for interceptions or pass break-ups. Matteson is also very physical when coming up into the 8 man box from the safety position and can be witnessed accelerating downhill in the run game, while driving through his opponent with outstanding overall tackling technique and brute strength. Collin is a very gifted 2022 wide receiver recruit and is able to create separation with his outstanding athletics, as well as stellar route running abilities and can be seen chewing up massive yards after the catch.Collin does an excellent job at high pointing the football when going over the top of the defense and also when flying around creating havoc in the defensive backfield. Matteson is able to set defenders up at the start of his route progression and very cunningly is able to change speeds, as well as direction in a flash. When lined up in the backfield, he shows great overall acceleration and is able to quickly locate the cut-back lane, while maneuvering his was through traffic for touchdowns. ATH Jackson Kovarik Class of 2022 Howell HS (MI) 6'0,185 GPA - 3.8 Player notes - Top 2022 ATH recruit Jackson Kovarik excels in all three phases of the game for Howell HS and is one of the most versatile overall 2022 football recruits coming out of the talent rich State of Michigan. Jackson is one of the most exhilarating return men I have evaluated on tape and has the athletic capabilities to take the football the distance, while proving to be a dominant force on both sides of the football. Kovarik projects extremely well as a top tier FS or SS, as he proves to have the ability to read plays instinctively and quickly transition his body to make a play on the football. His skills on the offensive side of the football also project him as a top flight ball carrier, as he is able to use his uncanny agility to quickly burst through the cut-back lane upon recognition and leave defenders in the dust with his blazing 4.48, 40 speed. When lined up wide at receiver, Jackson is able to quickly fire off the line of scrimmage and get over the top of the defense, while being able to quickly locate the football to create huge plays down the field for the Howell offense and will be a prime candidate for the 2022 HS All-American Bowl roster with his overall dynamic play-making abilities. |

LB/S Zachariah Hunter Class of 2022 Stillwater HS (MN) 5'11,195 GPA - 3.4 Player notes - Top 2022 LB/S recruit Zachariah Hunter is a physically dominating defensive player out of Stillwater HS in Minnesota, as he can be seen blasting his way through traffic to make bone crushing tackles in his Shakopee highlight's. Hunter shows great hip mobility when defending the pass and has the agility to cover sideline to sideline, as he can be witnessed zooming out to the flat to break up the pass attempt in his Forest Lake highlight's. When projecting his ability at the next level, I believe Hunter will make a great SS/OLB with his disruptive style of play and overall instincts in pass coverage. He demonstrates very sound tackling technique and plays with a very high motor, when attacking the football and takes great pursuit angles when tracking down ball carriers.
