TOP 2024 RB RECRUIT
Top 2024 RB recruit Devan Ramirez-Powell is a exhilarating downhill runner, who possesses the overall athletics to be a big time running back in Texas HS football and in the world of College Football Today. Devan is able to make quick and decisive cuts while motoring downhill and isn't afraid to lower his shoulder to deliver the All-Madden truck stick. At around 1 minute into his middle school highlight's, Ramirez-Powell can be seen bursting through tackles and demonstrates the top end speed to pull away from the defense. He shows extreme quickness when getting the football to the edge of the defense and is is extremely difficult to bring down in the open field. Devan proves to have superior ball carrier vision and is able to locate the 5th cutback lane, while dancing his way throw traffic and is able to chew up massive amounts of yardage in the process. 2024 TOP RB RECRUIT
2024 top RB recruit Devan Ramirez-Powell put on a thrilling display of athletics this past weekend and was able to tote the rock for 230 yards on only 13 carries & 5 touchdowns on the evening. Below is just one of his bedazzling runs that can be found on his Twitter account and will leave you wanting more to watch more Ramirez-Powell highlight's in the future. Athletically speaking, Devan is well beyond his years and is able to dance his way through traffic using outstanding ball carrier vision, as well as extreme burst when accelerating away from the defense. He wastes no time getting the ball motoring downhill and is easily able to find the proper cut-back lane to create magic on the gridiron of Texas HS football. Right now, Ramirez-Powell is the closest I have seen at this juncture in his young career to the College Football Today 2019 number one overall recruit Daimarqua Foster and will be looking to shatter TX HS football records in the future. FBS TOP 25 WEEK 8
The College Football Today FBS top 25 for week 8 was updated on October 17th, 2020 at 10:34 PM CST. Our FBS top 25 for week 8 was once again released almost a full day before the AP Top 25 & Coaches polls. The only team missing from the College Football Today FBS top 25 was Kansas State and while we believe Kansas State could be a top 25 later in the season, the loss to Arkansas State is what ultimately kept them out of the week 8 FBS top 25. Given the fact that Coastal Carolina beat Arkansas State head to head by a score of 52-23 and were able to defeat the formerly ranked Ragin Cajuns in Louisiana, we could not justify placing K-State above the Chanticleers. Although Liberty football has been in some closely contested match-ups, they were able to beat Syracuse handily this past weekend and gained enough fan votes to enter our FBS Top 25 at College Football Today.

Operating out of a college spread style offense, Johnson is able to deliver one of the best deep balls we have seen in the Class of 2023 at College Football Today. He proves to have outstanding arm strength and the ability to drop the back shoulder throw precisely in his 2019 highlight's. Johnson is able to deliver the football using an excellent arm angle while rolling to both sides of the pocket and will rank among the elite quarterbacks in the Class of 2023 in the world of College Football Today. Top 2023 quarterback recruit Jamari Johnson demonstrates the ability to toss darts to his receiving targets with a quick delivery from the pocket. Jamari throws one of the most accurate deep balls in the 2023 recruiting class and is able drop the football over the top of the defense, while hitting his receiver over the outside shoulder in stride. His 6'3,225 pound frame is prototypical of a Pro-Style QB recruit and he also possesses dual-threat capabilities with his 4.7, 40 speed, which is off the charts for a young man of his stature. He shows the ability to make college style back shoulder throws and is able to place the football where only his receiving target can make a play on the football. There is no time wasted in Jamari's short to intermediate passing game and as soon as he hits his last drop step, the ball comes whipping out precisely to his receiving targets. Johnson is a true marksman when delivering the football from the pocket and while on the move, as we anticipate a huge Sophomore season out of the extremely talented 2023 Pro-Style QB recruit out of New York! TOP COLLEGE QUARTERBACKS
When comparing Jamari's skill-set to top college quarterbacks of the past, he reminds me of former NFL First Round Pick and Marshall Thundering Herd quarterback Byron Leftwich. At this point in Johnson's career, he is more athletic than Leftwich was, but possesses the same pin-point accuracy and arm strength that landed Byron as a top 10 pick in the NFL Draft. Leftwich was not a very mobile QB and was clocked at a 5.1, 40 yard dash, while Jamari has been witnessed burning a 4.7, 40 and he proves to be very mobile when buying time in the pocket. Byron's NFL career might have not lived up to expectations, as he never seemed to have the protection up front to deliver the football like he did at Marshall. But he did win a Super Bowl and was selected to the 2003 NFL All-Rookie team, after compiling nearly 12,000 yards passing and 89 touchdowns at the University of Marshall. His mind-blowing 150.9 QB rating while at Marshall, also makes him one of the most accurate college quarterbacks of All-Time and I see the same caliber of play developing out of top 2023 QB recruit Jamari Johnson. What is Byron Leftwich doing today? Well, let's just say he is the offensive coordinator for Bruce Arians and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, as he gets to call the shots for the legendary NFL quarterback Tom Brady and the Bucs prolific offensive attack.

Top 2024 ATH recruit Kaelen Gray has had an outstanding Freshmen campaign for Cottonwood high school in Utah and could be the best 2024 football recruit in all of College Football Today. He has already received one college offer thus far and has an enormous list compiled of college teams who have reached out early in the recruiting process. Gray opens his Freshmen highlight's with a immaculate one handed catch and is an excellent route runner at 6'2,200 pounds. He uses his body extremely well when boxing out defenders and has the overall potential to be a big time receiving target at either the tight end or wide receiver position. Gray also is a hard hitting linebacker, who has great overall football instincts and is able to dominate much older opponents on the gridiron of Utah HS football. According to Maxpreps, Gray has hauled in 33 receptions for nearly 500 yards and has taken the ball to the crib five times, while showing the ability to stretch the field and take the top off a defense. Gray also has accumulated 25 tackles on the defensive side of the football and proves to one of the most dynamic players in the 2024 football recruiting class.
BEST HS FOOTBALL PLAYER
After watching more of Gray's highlight's, he could be the best HS football player in the 2024 recruiting class and he carries a 3.5 GPA. He loves the game of American football and is one of the most respectful young men I have dealt with in my 6 years in college football recruiting. While playing at the linebacker position, Gray is able to quickly diagnose the offensive plays and can be seen shooting into the backfield to bring down the ball carrier for a loss, at around 2:40 into his Freshmen season highlight's. His overall route running capabilities and catch radius are able to set him apart from the competition in Utah, as he is able to set defenders up in his route progressions and works extremely well in heavy traffic. Kaelen is one of the most sure handed receivers in the nation and developed his skills through his hard work as a youth player in the State of Maryland. Gray is already on the recruiting boards of the teams mentioned above and I expect him to be one of the most highly recruited players in the nation, as his recruitment process moves into high gear.

On the offensive side of the football Mcneese opens up gaping running lanes for the Flint Powers ball carriers and has the overall potential to excel on either side of the football. Top 2023 DT recruit Peyton McNeese is able to fire off the football quickly, while utilizing outstanding hands to blow by offensive linemen with his spin, swim and rip moves. He wins in one on one match-ups very easily and will often require a double-team to keep him from wreaking havoc in the opponents backfield. Peyton is also a very gifted long-snapper, who is extremely accurate and powerful with his long and short snaps. He follows through to his target with his hands very well and is a total package football recruit, when it comes to being able to excel in all three phases of the game of American football. When watching Jack open his hips and drop into hook/curl zone coverage, I am reminded of legendary New Mexico Lobo FS Brian Urlacher, who went on to have a Hall of Fame NFL Career with the Chicago Bears. Top 2023 LB recruits who have the knowledge of an offensive game plan and have experience at the quarterback position, often make the best linebackers at the next level and beyond. In Jack's footage below, you can see that he is now running the offense for Blue Mountain HS and is able to create plays downfield with his passing capabilities. On the defensive side of the football, Dean proves to be adept in pass coverage and is able to read plays instinctively, while staying in the hip pocket of receiving targets to break up passes. He does an outstanding job at taking on lead blockers with his inside arm and swarms to ball carriers to deliver bone crushing tackles. He Proves to be one of the most athletically gifted football recruits in the 2023 recruiting class and has already caught the eye of Penn State, Temple & Bloomsburg.
TOP 2023 LINEBACKERS
Top 2023 linebackers who are able to make the transition into multiple roles on the offensive side of the football, are highly coveted in the world of College Football Today. The fact that Penn State has already began recruiting Jack speaks volumes to his overall potential, as the Nittany Lions have produced some of the best linebacker in the National Football League. Not saying Dean doesn't possess an enormous amount of potential as a QB, but his overall linebacker instincts are some of the best I have witnessed in the Class of 2023. Jack isn't getting much time to work in the pocket, but is able to use his God given athletically abilities to create plays downfield while under duress and has outstanding arm strength. Top 2023 DT recruit Maddox Marchbank has dominated on the interior line for Cardinal Mooney in his first three games and is a flat out beast in the trenches of Florida high school football. He has the skill-set and athletics to play on either side of the football, but I believe his brute strength and ability to get after the quarterback will make him a highly sought after DT recruit. Having already posted a sub 5.0 - 40 yard dash, Maddox shows off his quickness in the footage below with an opening sack against Victory Christian. What I am most impressed with is his disruptive ability to hold the A gaps and detach to quickly locate ball carriers and bring them to a screeching halt. He is extremely tough to move off the football and plays with an extremely high motor with his excellent speed for a rising 2023 defensive tackle recruit. TOP 2023 DEFENSIVE TACKLE
Top 2023 defensive tackle Maddox Marchbank is able to fire off the snap off the football and does an outstanding job of keeping his arms extended before detaching from O-linemen. He is able to create an instant surge into the opponents backfield in his week one highlight's below and can be seen playing at offensive guard driving his blocking assignment off the football with ease. Given that South Florida is a football hotbed and he is able to move men against their will with ease as a Sophomore, I believe Maddox will be rising rapidly as a recruit in the world of College Football Today.
