When it comes to having the tool-set to become an enforcer on the field of play, Higgins exhibits not only the behemoth size needed to move other men against their will, but also is fully capable of becoming an elite pass catching tight end with his ever expanding catch radius. After witnessing how ferociously he is able to run over defenders and the physicality that you witness just on that one play, you start to ponder if Ethan Higgins could be the next dominant run blocking tight end with his massive structure and brute strength that has had many coaches highly intrigued across the great state of Florida. 2023 All-American Tight End Ethan Higgins was utilized as a quarterback in 6 man Florida HS football and proved to have stellar overall athletics that will translate into a college or potentially an NFL Tight End according to All-American Bowl Head Coach Ed Schenk. All-American notes - 2023 All-American Tight End/H-Back Stephen Kelsey has proven to be the ultimate weapon offensively for the Florence HS football team in Alabama and has transitioned from an All-American pulling guard to a dominant tight end/h-back recruit, who possesses the capabilities to excel in all facets needed on the collegiate playing field. Stephen was selected as an under-classmen for the 2021 All-American Bowl after showcasing his abilities on the interior line and has utilized the same grit & determination to move men against their will to open up gaping holes for the Florence backs, as a true sledgehammer lead blocking fullback. Kelsey has also demonstrated an innate ability to get open in the passing game by selling his blocks and sneaking out into the flats on route combinations, as he possesses impeccable focus and soft hands when hauling in receptions. 2023 All-American TE/H/FB Stephen Kelsey can be witnessed in the film below simply pummeling his blocking assignments out on the edge in the power run game and is very quick at getting to the second level to seal off linebackers, as he possesses the overall athletics that project extremely well as a power fullback, tight end or H-back that can be utilized in a multitude of ways to set his teams offense up with instant success. |

He is a very nifty route runner for his enormous size and with more speed training at IMG Academy, will develop into one of the top passing targets coming out of the 2023 recruiting class. When grading his fierce ability in the trenches as a blocker, there are not many that compare nationally in producing epic engage to pancake (ETP) ratios at the TE position. He is able to to unearth defenders when blocking downfield and is one the grittiest 2023 tight end recruits in the 8 man box.
