WR Tyree Sams Clovis North HS (CA) 5'11", 175 2026 TOP WR RECRUIT GPA - 3.2 Scouting notes - 2026 CAL Bears commit Tyree Sams is one of the most dynamic athletes in the 2026 class, combining elite quickness with verified breakaway speed that makes him a constant home-run threat. At 5’11”, 175 pounds, he has a compact, wiry frame built for acceleration and change of direction. His suddenness jumps off the tape, as he can go from 0–100 in an instant, consistently putting defenders in recovery mode. Sams is arguably one of the fastest players in the nation for his class. He demonstrates not only straight-line speed but also rare burst in short areas, allowing him to separate early in routes and destroy pursuit angles in the open field. Once he gets a crease, it’s nearly impossible to catch him from behind. His agility and footwork allow him to redirect effortlessly, often leaving defenders flat-footed in one-on-one situations. The defining trait of Sams’ game is his ability to create after the catch. He thrives in space, particularly in screen packages, jet sweeps, and quick-hitting concepts where he can use his agility to make the first defender miss. His combination of vision, balance, and lateral quickness makes him a constant threat to turn a short gain into a touchdown. WR/DB Jeremy Wright Seminary HS (FL) 5'8", 150 GPA - 3.5 Scouting notes - New top 2026 WR recruit Jeremy Wright is an electrifying play-maker who possesses the athletic prowess to blow the lid off a defensive secondary and/or skedaddle through the opposing defense with his brilliant style of running after the catch. Jeremy is a very deceptive route runner who excels in one on one battles with his shiftiness as he is capable of creating separation quickly through his route progressions. When working out of the slot, Wright's explosiveness is utilized in both the run & passing game as he is capable of swiftly knifing through the defense with exceptional ball carrier vision, speed and strength to blast through would-be-tacklers. He is dynamite in a bottle in the screen game and is able to chew up massive amounts of yardage in a flash, as the combination of his evasiveness, fast twitch reflexes and high octane burst give defenders very little time to determine is course of direction. If Jeremy can maintain his progression and highly functional style of athletic brilliance he has displayed on the gridiron of Mississippi, I could see him one day becoming much like Dri Archer as he exhibits many of the attributes on the offensive side of the football. As a top flight defensive back, Jeremy demonstrates the ability to quickly read & react to passing plays as he is able to stick his back foot in the ground and rapidly break on pass attempts. He proves to have the fluidity needed to swiftly stay inside the hip pockets of receivers in man to man coverage and knife to the football with authority as he also exhibits the physicality needed to excel on the defensive side of the ball at the next level. All in all, when watching how smoothly Wright transitions into his route concepts, if it were me, I am not passing up what could be a significant portion of my teams offensive production over the next 3 to 5 years, as potentially the next Dri Archer prototype. |

Mizzer is an excellent route runner who uses his high football IQ, quick burst and subtle changes of speed to create separation from defenders and is magnificent when locating the ball in flight.
