S T.J. Quinn Class of 2021 Lowndes HS (GA) 6'1,200 GPA - 3.8 Player notes - Top 2021 DB recruit T.J. Quinn is arguably the most physical safety recruit in the nation at College Football Today & currently holds 14 D1 FBS offers, as the top safety recruit coming out of the State of Georgia. Quinn is a tackling machine for Lowndes HS and at 6'1,200 pounds, is able to read plays instinctively to deliver bone crushing tackles from the S/SS positions. Quinn will match-up well with tight ends and bigger receivers with his physical style of play at the FBS level, as he also has the frame to be a high octane OLB at the next level. DB/ATH Zion Mackins Class of 2021 Ashbrook HS (NC) 5'10,175 GPA - 2.5 Player notes - New Top 2021 DB recruit Zion Mackins and the State of North Carolina recently kicked off their HS football season this spring, as Mackins looks to impress college recruiters nationally with his sound and tenacious play in the defensive backfield. Zion has extremely good overall athletics for a 2021 DB recruit and can be witnessed zooming around the defensive side of the football to deliver massive blows in Ashbrook's opening game against Phillip O'Brien. His high motor and backside pursuit can be witnessed in the YouTube clips against Phillip O'Brien and Mackins is able to completely unearth the ball carrier, who is running full head of steam down the field by using outstanding hustle and overall tackling technique. I will be updating Zion's highlight's as they come in throughout the North Carolina HS football season and am very intrigued with his overall skill-set in the defensive backfield, as he projects well at CB, FS and could even translate into a SS/OLB depending on the scheme in the world of College Football Today. |

DB/K Cristiano Palazzo Class of 2021 Heritage HS (CO) 5'9,185LBS GPA - 3.95 Player Notes - Cristiano Palazzo has a very impressive resume as a Top 2021 ATH recruit and boasts outstanding academics. Palazzo is a lock down defensive back, who was also 7-7 on the season on field goal attempts and had 30 touch-backs with over a 70 yard average. Cristiano checks out athletically and is a dominant sprinter, as well as elite soccer player. Opposing teams did their best to stay away from his side of the field in 2019 and his still managed to earn All-Metro League DB, as well as being one of the best kicking recruits in the nation. It is not often you find this combination in a recruit that can deliver the "hit stick" and kick the football as well as new Top 2021 ATH recruit Cristiano Palazzo. Kenney plays very physical in the box and is masterful over the top of a defense in coverage. CB Wyatt Grisell Class of 2021 Douglas HS (NV) 5'8,155LBS GPA - 3.6 ACT - 25 Player Notes - Wyatt is an exceptional athlete in the defensive backfield and in the return game. Coming from Douglas HS (NV), Grisell has shown immense improvements in his game from the film we evaluated last season that will be shown visibly in my next scouting report. Wyatt plays very hard and has outstanding technique for such a young age and his Dad is a exemplary role model in the way he teaches Wyatt to play the game of football. |
