WR/DB Tru Couch 2023 ALL-AMERICAN Wimberley HS (TX) 6'0,155 Player notes - New Top 2023 WR/DB recruit Tru Couch has impeccable concentration when maneuvering through his route stem progressions and is able to haul in passes in immense traffic. Couch is a very fluent and gifted ball carrier, as he has a very natural running style that many of the greats of our game demonstrated in the past. Tru also exhibits the ability read opposing offenses play progressions, while being able to break abruptly to create mayhem for opposing receiving targets. His overall hip flexion as well quick witted and athletic style of play he has maintained through his Sophomore year has earned him in invitation to the 2021 HS FB All-American Bowl at College Football Today. Couch had a terrific season down in Texas HS football and also excelled in the classroom, as he carries a 4.18 GPA and I am looking forward to coaching him in San Antonio, Texas. |
