Top football recruits at Scout Trout Elite have either been on the road or training for up and coming college football recruiting camps in which they were invited. As our Houston combine portion was winding down, I had already gotten word that 2020 Top ATH Recruit Matthias Algarin was up a NDSU, but very shortly after, got a message stating that the Algarin family was meeting with the Northwestern Wildcats! Algarin also recently has been posting some of the best track times and numbers in all of the nation, while preparing to bring his 2020 Top ATH recruit talents to the gridiron. When it comes to being a overall athlete, not many compare to Matthias Algarin and his ability to do anything he sets his brilliant mind to.
2021 TOP WR RECRUIT
2021 Top WR recruit Branden Alvarez has gained major interest from big time FBS programs across the nation and is rated highly in our Top 2021 WR recruit rankings. I also got word yesterday that Branden Alvarez has received a offer from BYU football, which garners his first offer of his illustrious, but very young career. We expect to see big things out of this spectacular receiving target, as he has a Top 2020 QB recruit in Carter Freedland tossing him the rock on time and with precision. This should be a big junior year for Branden Alvarez, as he will continue to garner offers to top level college football programs, as a he will be a instant leader on and off the field for whatever college team he ends up signing with.
FOOTBALL COMBINE TRAINING
We had our first top recruit session and had a very good football combine training session that was able drop 2020 top ATH recruit Jared Pickens from a 4.9,40 yard dash to a 4.65,40 yard dash. We also were able to help 2020 Top OL Recruit Andrew Cervantes go from a 5.7,40 yard dash, to a 5.32,40 yard dash. Both players also ran great shuttle times for their respective positions, as well as L-drills. 2020 TOP OL RECRUITS
2020 top OL recruits Andrew Cervantes & Jared Pickens are two very different type of recruits when it comes to what positions could be playing at the next level. With Jared being a 2020 top long snapper recruit with 4.65,40 speed and the ability to block, while catching the ball out of the backfield. He fits the mold of a fullback or H-back at the next level, while also possessing very good pass rushing ability off the edge. He shows the ability as a center to do things no man his size should be able to do, while using quickness and leverage to dominate his opponents. Getting to blocks quickly and efficiently is also something I have seen quite often in Andrew's game and he is a pulverizing force as a pulling guard. Andrew also is being recruited as a defensive linemen, as a nose guard, as his extremely strong base is very hard to move with the amount of strength Andrew possesses.
2020 TOP FULLBACK RECRUIT
2020 top fullback recruit Jared Pickens showed great route running ability after producing outstanding combine numbers, as well as soft hands when catching the football out of the backfield. Both Andrew and Jared were able to pick up college style concepts very quickly and put them into action on the playing field. These two also worked very well together when long snapping, as Andrew proved he also capable of long snapping at the next level and also has great athletics for 2020 OL recruit. Scheduling our spring and summer football camps around our top football recruits schedules is easy when the top football recruit wants to improve in every facet of their game. This is also a chance for athletes to show off other skill-sets that they may not get to use on their high school football team. Most great football players will fill roles for their high school teams based off of a teams need, rather than their natural position on the football field. Five star football recruits have a slightly different algorithm at Scout Trout Elite & College Football Today, as we have watched nearly over 80% of these five star recruits turn into so-called "busts" in the game of American football. From steady research, most of the recruits being warranted five stars are not even close to some of the athletes that have been located with zero stars. Some five star recruits find themselves at the junior college level, as they forgot the "student" part of student-athlete and rested on that five star title to skate by not only football, but life. They have been added to our RowShare docs and wished to be named at a later date. That being said, as a former top rated recruit on Rivals, I was always told by my father, who kicked for the Steelers & USFL Stars, not to put much stock in what the football media ranking system deemed me, but rather that I was never good enough and had to get better daily to ultimately attain my goals. So still to this day, I do not put much stock in what others in our sport have to say about me or the solution I created to enhance our games recruit rankings. Instead, I try and create new ways for us all to succeed daily in a pretty cut-throat media driven football recruiting world. Simply put, as a top football recruit you should not let anyone else define who you are or what you are capable of achieving, as no one can measure what a athlete has beating inside them. 2019 TOP 300 FOOTBALL RECRUITS
2019 top 300 football recruits will have some players reclassified, as they were a year younger than the other 2019 top 300 football recruits and have been re-ranked in the 2020 college football recruit rankings. These players are also now permitted to compete in All-American Bowl games like the Army All-American Bowl and will be considered 2020 college football recruits moving forward. We have already added Top 2020 OL recruit Chez Jennings Jr to the list, as he will be attending the high academic prep football academy at Taft in Middlebury, Connecticut. Chez had many FCS offers, but has since heard from the likes of Bayor, TCU and many top college football programs across the nation. With Chez still growing as a student-athlete, the Tres Barbosa route is one that will lead him to being the top 2020 junior college OL recruit in all of College Football Today, just like our star studded Quarterback Brayden Hawkins, who will be slinging the pigskin at Northwest Mississippi and looking to reign supreme over EMCC.

Top 2020 Athlete recruits are athletes who can do many things on the football field in the world of college football today. Some of these recruits are playing out of position in high school in order to help their program succeed, as they could be light in players in one area or another. Recruits like Top 2020 Athlete recruit Jared Pickens, are accustom to doing what's needed for their ball clubs with no questions asked and are able to deliver in dominating fashion. When you are 5'10,200LB's, not many view you as a top offensive linemen recruit, but many do view him as a top long snapping recruit at the next level. Knowing how the likes of Mike Webster developed into one of the best centers ever in NFL history and how he was only about 6'1,255LBS (listed*), shows me that Jared certainly possesses the same type of strength as a dominating offensive center.

I have been able to convert many top 2020 fullback recruits from the offensive line position the past few years and I really see Jared excelling as a fullback at the next level or at the H-Back/Tight End positions. He also is very good pass rusher, as seen in one on ones at our 2019 All-American showcase in Dallas,Texas. Jared was one of the players who completed the events through the extremely windy and cold conditions, while showing how resilient of college football recruit he has become. Jared has shown the ability to catch the ball extremely well out of the backfield or lined up anywhere on the football field, while also having very good route running ability. When it comes to opening up holes per play design against some behemoth football players in the Dallas,Texas area, none are as gifted as Jared Pickens, as he also has superior athletics for a interior linemen in the weight room. Jared could be on the road here very soon, as he has been invited to visit colleges in Connecticut and Missouri, as of late. As a defender, you won't find too many shutdown defensive backs like Matthias. When you watch Matthias Algarin return kicks and add in the fact he dominated the Rivals Dallas 3 Stripe camp, as the number one overall performer at the event, you begin to see why Matthias Algarin is becoming such a coveted ATHLETE recruit in the world of College Football Today.

When he hit his debacle off the course many had jokes about Tiger Woods and his character, but what speaks volumes in the world of sport is the ability to overcome adversity time and time again. I applaud Tiger Woods for once again finding his golf stroke and surrounding himself with the right people in his life to help him overcome the haters and smile, as he wins yet another Masters title. Tiger will most likely now be one of the favorites to take home the US OPEN, along with the British Open, as he attempts to reach Jack Nicklaus' 18 major titles.

Top 2020 fullback recruit could honestly be the title for Ben Bodne, as he is a monster with the pigskin tucked away safely in his hands and can break the big run at any given time. He shows the agility needed to be a every down back and certainly can grind out gritty runs in short yardage situations. With Ben's ability to carry the ball and his overall football instincts, he could even be utilized at the H-Back position at the next level with his brilliant athletic skill set.
TOP 2020 LB RECRUIT
Top 2020 LB recruit Ben Bodne can flat out do it all for a defense at the next level, as he shows outstanding tackling ability and is able to diagnose plays quickly at the LB position. He also is very good in pass coverage, as seen in his leaping interception on his film above and can create big plays any time he steps on the field for his teams defense. When I watch how smoothly Ben operates at the LB position, I am reminded of former Chicago Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher, who certainly would have also fell in our top ATH recruit rankings category, as he was a prime time safety with New Mexico in his collegiate days. You would also see Brian back handling punt returning duties and was the epitome of what a bigger top ATH recruit should resemble on the gridiron and off the field.

Scout Trout football has been around the past three college football recruiting classes, while the pipeline recruiting program has ran effectively for the past four recruiting classes. Many of the athletes that helped form our new website College Football Today, are now embarking on the next step in their careers as now starting college football players and possibly future NFL Draft picks. Not all players were listed on Scout Trout Elite, but most were and we want to take a moment to acknowledge these up and coming stars of College Football Today.

ECU SPRING FOOTBALL 2019
I got some reports out of ECU spring football 2019 and after nominating Darius Pinnix as a Maxwell candidate at College Football Today. Pinnix only got to see limited action in the backfield in 2018, but when he got his chance to shine, he did just that. Here is a exert from ECU football's website about Darius Pinnix, out of Western Alamance, HS in North Carolina.
"Poised to elevate standing as the Pirates’ top rusher after an impressive debut as a true freshman in 2017 … Penciled in as one of three prime candidates, along with Hussein Howe and Trace Christian, who will each challenge for a full-time starting role during preseason camp and throughout the 2018 season … Offers ample strength, agility, lateral movement and a low center of gravity that could enhance third-and-short ground production … Could also experience additional reps as a kick returner depending on offensive workload … Suffered through some nicks and bruises throughout the spring, thus was kept out of scrimmage action by coaches for precautionary reasons."
UTEP 2019 SPRING FOOTBALL
The UTEP 2019 spring football roster features top 2017 recruit at Scout Trout Elite Tres Barboza, who played one season at Tyler community college before transferring to the University of Texas El-Paso. Tres was one of the most impressive offensive linemen I had identified in the 2017 college football recruiting class and he was located in late April by former Scout Trout Elite parent Joel Barbosa. Joel also has a son who came through the Scout Trout Elite pipeline recruiting program, who will be playing this fall at Oklahoma Panhandle State in Joel Barbosa Jr, with College Football Today NAIA Player Of The Year Martez Vrana, who also was located by the Scout Trout Elite network.
BEST COLLEGE KICKERS
The best college kickers will be kicking at the FCS level of College Football Today in Top 2017 K/P recruit Carson Reed and 2018 All-American K/P Michael Benson. Carson Reed recently transferred from Chadron State to Montana State and was the top specialist in the nation in the 2017 recruiting class, as he kicked in Alaska extremely well for four years. He fought through many obstacles to become a division one kicker and after watching some of his practice videos as of late, Reed is one of the top specialist identified as a NFL draft prospect in 2023. That brings me to 2018 All-American kicker Michael Benson, who had one of the strongest legs I had witnessed in person and he will be kicking in his second season at Robert Morris college. Michael was featured on ESPN at the start of the college football season and was booming kickoffs deep for the Robert Morris Colonials and is a top 2022 NFL Draft K/P prospect.
PVAMU SPRING FOOTBALL
We were up at PVAMU spring football on behalf of College Football Today and there is another rising star at PVAMU football besides the speedy Dawonya Tucker. Jermaine Jackson was a All-State defensive end at Trinity high school in Kentucky and is now right down the street from our Houston headquarters at College Football Today. We wish Jermaine the best this season and all of the Prairie View A & M football team, as the prepare for SWAC conference play at College Football Today.
THE BEST CFB PLAYERS 2019
The best CFB players in 2019 will prove themselves as former Scout Trout Elite student-athletes time and time again, as they all were molded and refined through the process they created for themselves on their journeys. We will be talking about more of last years 2018 Scout Trout elite recruiting class on the next update on former Scout Trout Elite recruits, who defied the odds and were apart of the 3% of high school athletes to receive a college football scholarship, with the help of the Scout Trout Elite pipeline recruiting program and College Football Today.

TAMU spring football is off to a fantastic start according to our new Aggies insider and with the likes of Jimbo Fisher in town, who boasts a 92-27 record as an NCAA head football coach, what else would you expect? With TAMU being able to average 36 points per game last season, producing enough offense was not the issue for the Aggies. 2019 NFL Draft RB prospect Trayveon Williams accounted for over 2,000 yards of TAMU's offense in 2018 and NFL Draft TE prospect Jace Sternberger had over 800 yards receiving through the air. The Aggies will look to third year junior quarterback Kellen Mond to step up and deliver in the clutch in the highly competitive SEC football conference this season, as he is closing in on 5,000 yards passing as a TAMU Aggie. ​We stopped by the former home of Baker Mayfield, who had a stand out rookie season with the Cleveland Browns in the National Football League. Kyler Murray is projected to go number one overall in the 2019 NFL Draft, just as Baker did in the 2018 NFL Draft. If we look at the production of both players, this should be a very sound pick for the Arizona Cardinals in the 2019 NFL Draftand they should be able to acquire more intricate pieces needed through a trade of Josh Rosenheading into 2019 NFC West play.
