 Alaska is one tough State to kick in and Carson Reed made it look easy! What is even more impressive, is he did it with a sub-par operation in front of him. Dealing with high winds, frigid air, snow, rain and playing WR/DB makes me believe this kid is going to be a stud a the next level! Carson has the ability to strike from 50 plus yards, as he has a 47 yard field goal on his film, that clears half way up the poles. His accuracy is very good as well and when I evaluate overall kicking technique, Carson gets a A! Carson also punts the living crap out the ball and can be used to pin opponents deep, with multiple different kicks. Carson is seen using the traditional punt and because of poor snaps, the RUGBY style punt! Carson shows great athleticism on both sides of the ball and I consider him a very good overall Football player. Carson was named Defensive Player of the game for his pivotal interception, to help seal the State Championship for East Anchorage HS! Carson has been contacted by some big time D1 programs and some smaller NAIA programs across the mid-west! Great Job Carson and once again Congrats on being The Alaska State Kicker of The Year!
