The Battle for Barbosa!

I got the pleasure of meeting the Barbosa's at a camp I was coaching in Witchita Falls, TX, back in August! Joel and his father made a long drive from Grapeland Texas, to be able to attend this workout. Mr. Barbosa said it was the best 20 dollars they have ever spent, in terms of what they got out of the workout. I was in charge of the HOGS and I had studied this young man before he got to the event. I was impressed with his overall strength, as he is a State Powerlifting Qualifier, for the State of Texas! With a 600LB Squat and also a amazing Bench Press, I knew if this young man could move well he could gain major attention. Well we all know how this has gone, Joel cannot only move, but produce hot, delicious, buttery, syruppy and dynamic PANCAKES! I love the way he pulls and puts the opposition flat on their backs, while still being to move on to the next block. This has gotten very intense for the Barbosa camp, as far as visits, mail and texts. Thus far we have visits offered to Oklahoma Panhandle, Alderson Broaddus, SAGU, Sterling (offer), Mizzou Baptist, Benedictine, MNU, Saint Anselm, SW OK ST, Mizzou Valley, Dickinson State and SNU! Joel has had a D1 school's poking around as well, at Scout Trout we have a lot of ways of tracking interest. Joel's emails were opened by about 1/4 of the D1 schools across the country, some opened more then 10 times! I expect the Battle For Barbosa to keep heating up, as guys this strong are highly sought after, at the next level! Congrats on knowing you will be playing College Football, Joel! YOU did not know this when we meant in August, BUT I WAS 100 PERCENT POSITIVE I would find you a home. NOW WE HAVE 12 avenues to get a education and continue to serve up HOT PANCAKES! Joel also has a ton of interest as a Defensive Tackle, with the strength he possesses and proper technique training, this would be a huge win for any College Program, in being able to gain Barbosa's services.
