When Ronald Ollie made the choice to drop out of Nichols State, after being persuaded to go there instead of Southern Miss. He had lost his love for the game because of poor coaching and people who did not understand where he comes from. Ronald has since learned if he transferred up a level, he would have to spend one academic year before he could play football again. That being the case, we have decided as a unit, that declaring for special eligibility for the 2018 NFL Draft was our best option for Ronald Ollie. The NFL today dedicates itself on personalities, along with football talent. Ronald had been labeled a "bad kid" and knowing his background thoroughly, you will understand why he acted in some of the ways he did. Throw in playing the violent sport of football and the concussions he suffered, you can only imagine the torment that went on inside this young man's head, when he was called a "Pussy", by his Head coach Buddy Stephens after suffering a concussion. I have been mentoring Ollie on the proper direction to head in his life because I too know how this feels and have lived through similar situations. If a running back who kicked some in college can get NFL workouts, I am certain this young man will get his shot. Ronald has since obtained employment and will be joining us on Northland TV. I have been handling his football endeavors and I am extremely please that plan A,B and C are now in place. We know Ronald Ollie will be playing football next year and he will be entering the 2018 NFL Draft as a true Junior, 3 years removed from High School. If that for some reason does not pan out, we have solidified a few, very solid back-up plans to get him on the field.

We have started training camp and Coach Cox has his team poised for a very big season. I am extremely please with our current situation here in Thief River Falls, so I decided to hold our combine training here for pro free agents and some NFL early draft entries, Like Ronald Ollie.
