Player notes - Top 2024 DE/LB recruit Isaiah Pierre was a highly destructive force of nature coming off the edge during his sophomore season campaign as he was able to wreak havoc in the opposing teams backfield with his brutalizing pass rushing abilities. Pierre is extremely quick off the snap of the football and utilizes his highly combative hands to knock o-linemen off balance, while executing quick rip & swim moves to wreak havoc on opposing teams quarterbacks. Isaiah is also a very astute pass rusher who is able to recognize passing plays and get his arms extended quickly to break up would be pass attempts. His brute strength gives him the ability to hold the edge in the running game as he is able to quickly discard oncoming blockers and detach to make plays on the football. Top 2024 DE/OLB recruit Isaiah Pierre also plays with a very active and high motor and is able to create turnovers with the disruption he is able to create week in and week out. Jackson is a very explosive and agile downhill runner who possesses superior ball carrier vision, as he is able to quickly burst through traffic after identifying the cut-back lane and chew up massive chunks of yardage with his exhilarating speed. McCarey utilizes very quick and choppy feet when rapidly changing his course of direction to keep defenders off-balanced, while also possessing the power to break through would-be tacklers. Jackson also excels as a top 2024 DB recruit as he is able to quickly identify run or passing plays, while proving to be highly disruptive to create turnovers upon arrival at the football. After receiving the kickoff as a return man, Jackson wastes no time blasting his way up the field through traffic and his overall athletic skill-set will be very productive on any college special teams unit.
