Top 2023 Dual-Threat QB recruit Dylan Burdine had a stellar junior campaign behind center of the East Ridge HS offense and his innate ability to deliver accurate strikes down the field while avoiding immense pressure in the pocket will be highly productive at the next level. Dylan is very fleet of foot in the pocket and has excellent body weight transitioning when uncorking the long ball to hit his receivers over the top of the defense. He appears to have a 6th sense when the pocket is collapsing and is able to quickly work to the open part of the field to create plays in the passing game. Burdine also demonstrated the dual-threat capabilities needed to grind out tough yards in the option game with his 4.6, 40 yard dash speed and he also proved to be highly accurate in the short to intermediate passing game. New Top 2023 Dual-Threat QB recruit Dylan Burdine also exhibited tremendous touch when dropping the ball over the top of the defense and was able to complete extremely difficult off-platform passes when under duress.
