Top 2022 DB recruits at College Football Today will have Chandler Rivers very high up on our board, as he is one of the most skillful play makers I have seen in the 2022 NCAA football recruiting class. Playing his freshmen season on Varsity, Chandler already has the likes of the Texas Longhorns highly interested, after he also attended their camp this summer. Rivers has outstanding combine numbers for a 2022 college football recruit and plays with some of the best overall technique I have seen at the defensive back position for such a young age. TOP 2022 DEFENSIVE BACK

Top 2022 defensive back Chandler Rivers has his eyes fixed on the QB on the first play of his highlight's above and effortlessly glides into position to make a leaping interception. When grading out defensive back recruits, I look for hip mobility and the ability to change direction in the blink of an eye, which Chandler does extremely well on film. Chandler is also a basketball player, which speaks volumes to why he is such an active athlete at the corner-back position, as you will see on the third play in his phenomenal 2018 highlight's. It appears that Rivers is going to jump the out route and could be beat deep, but his instincts and agility are able to quickly save him, as he flips quickly and is in the inside pocket of the wide receiver. Once the football is in the air, Rivers is able to get his head around quickly and proves to be a synaptic-ally charged player that is firing on all cylinders. 

TOP 2022 ATH RECRUIT

Rivers could also be a top 2022 ATH recruit when evaluating his play on the offense side of the football, as he shows the same athletic prowess with the football in his hands. Watching him take a bad snap around the corner for a game winning touchdown and then knifing inside to catch the slant route over the middle, Rivers is one of the quickest 2022 recruit you will see on tape. On the next play, Chandler is able to sit down quickly on a hook route and is seen quickly turning up field and dancing through the defense all the way for a touchdown. 

2022 ALL AMERICAN CB RECRUIT

I have Chandler Rivers as a 2022 All-American CB recruit, who could also play extremely well in a nickel package role at the next level with his ball hawking abilities and plays very physical when coming up on run plays. This young man is an extremely powerful tackler and is able to run through lead blockers, while also being a very sure tackler. I am very eager to watch Chandler Rivers progress this season, as he certainly fits the mold of one of the top 2022 football recruits in the nation at College Football Today & Scout Trout Elite LLC. 

FOOTBALL COACHING

Chandler is receiving outstanding football coaching by his father who I got to speak with on the phone for a good bit about the coaching he is instilling in his son. When it comes to the proper structure needed to excel at a high level, I have not found too many as adept in the game of football as Mr.Rivers and when I watch Chandler play, it all starts to mold into what I think is a five star DB recruit at College Football Today. Great job in coaching you're son into one heck of a defensive back and I look forward to meeting you both in the future, as the kid has NFL potential written all over him.
