TOP 2021 FOOTBALL RECRUITS

Top 2021 football recruits will continue to be identified throughout the off-season at College Football Today and 6'3,180 LB Joey Ondrejik projects to be an outstanding player on defense. Joey has phenomenal overall athletics for his size and was able to win the 100M dash at the Austin Relays in Texas. He has verified 4.56,40 speed, which is combined with a 4.36 shuttle and impressive 9'8" broad jump. Ondrejik has the ability to scour from sideline to sideline and is very mobile in zone and man coverage.  Joey has been also added to our 2021 HS All-American Bowl roster at College Football Today and I really like him at both OLB, as well as over the top of a defense with his impressive athletic attributes and frame. 2021 TOP FOOTBALL RECRUIT

New 2021 top football recruit Joey Ondrejik could play a variety of roles at the next level and is the type of overall athlete that mostly all football coaches are looking for. Ondrejik uses his hands very well to disengage from blockers and can make up ground in a hurry when closing in on ball carriers. He sets the edge at around 1:05 into his highlight's above, while taking on an offensive tackle, as well as a fullback and is able to maintain outside leverage to make the tackle. Joey was recovering from an injury most of the 2019 season, but still was able to get great highlights from the two games that he competed in this past year. We obviously know he is healthy, as he was just able to torch the Austin Relay's and win a Gold medal in the 100 M dash. Joey has a very high motor on the defensive side of the football and with his natural speed, is a great fit for the rover type strong safety in the world of College Football Today.
