Top 2021 football recruits at College Football Today features Sam Whitney as the 150th overall 2021 football recruit in the nation and ranked as the 15th best QB in the class of 2021. Whitney has become a PAC-12 & IVY League target with his breakout season in 2019 and recently was seen visiting Yale, after nearly scoring a perfect score on the SAT. Sam has a 3.97 GPA and recently submitted a S.T.E.P ratings form with a 1540 SAT score, which will award him plenty of full-ride academic scholarships at the finest institutions in College Football Today. After breaking 8 school records at Mira Costa with 2,938 yards passing and 30 touchdowns, Whitney racked up the awards and was named a College Football Today 2021 HS All-American QB. 2021 Top QB recruit Sam Whitney has outstanding footwork in the pocket and is able to get rid of the ball quickly to his play-makers downfield. Sam throws his receivers open early with impeccable timing and precision, as his receivers never have to break stride and has proved to be one of the most accurate passers in the 2021 recruiting class.  At around 1:40 into Sam's 2019 highlight's, you will get to see how well Whitney is able to maneuver in and out of the pocket, as he is able to evade pressure and deliver darts downfield. He proves to be a competitor in the face of adversity, as seen starting at 2:03 into his 2019 highlight's above and makes one of the best throws under pressure you will see on tape. Sam is able to avoid two would be tacklers and is able to square his shoulders to throw a dime to his receiving target on the corner route, while knowing he is about to get plastered into the turf.
