Evan Clarke exhibits the ability to not only avoid pressure, but also makes plays with his 4.7 speed and operates masterfully in spread read-option attack. When a play completely breaks down, Clarke is able to still create big plays and uses great vision on his way to the end-zone as one of the most athletic QB recruits in the 2021 recruiting class. What really impresses me the most about this young gunslinger is his near flawless release point and body weight transition in the short to intermediate passing game. Evan has some of the best footwork in the pocket and makes very quick decisions with the football. He has very good arm strength and is able to make throws to the outside on the larger Canadian rules football field, which will translate to a big time quarterback in American style college football with a smaller playing field. 2021 HS ALL-AMERICAN QB2021 HS All-American QB was added to our 2021 High School Football All-American roster at College Football Today, as he will join some of his fellow Canadians who are elite college football recruits.
