Top 2020 Football Recruit Update 6'6,320LB OT Recruit Chez Jennings Jr The Taft School (CT)

2020 ALL-AMERICAN OT

When I went to visit 2020 All-American OT Chez Jennings Jr at The Taft School, he explained how much he loved it there. He told me how the connection between him and the team is stronger than ever before. The terrific coaching staff at Big Red however, allowed him to thrive in both sports and in the school as well. From the five-hour double practices, to the final senior dinner, he enjoyed it the whole time. His age, however, was the one factor that affected his future football career. He had received several D-I offers but graduated at seventeen because of skipping preschool. This age gap caused some concerns between Chez and his family.

COLLEGE FOOTBALL

This age gap between him and other big-time college football players is the reason he decided to do a post-graduate year at Taft. He explained how Taft allows him to be himself and to express his extroverted attitude in many ways. Chez has become a well-recognized tour guide for the school, and has joined many clubs including Warm Thoughts, Chess, and many others. He wants to express how much he appreciates the school for giving him the opportunity to play for them. Chez said “My goal while I’m here is to have only good things said about me when I graduate.” I personally think he can do that, no doubt.
