ALL-AMERICAN FOOTBALL MOM

With mothers day tomorrow, we would like to give a shout out to the All-American football mom at Scout Trout Elite and College Football Today. Having grown up in the sport of American football with my mother a USFL Stars cheerleader and my father the USFL Stars kicker, I had arguably the best football mother ever when it came to making sure I was prepared for every practice, game and even award ceremonies, as she liked to mess with my hair. All in all, mothers do not get enough credit, as far as building up young All-American football recruits and if I never had my mother around, I would have been lost in the shuffle almost immediately. No matter what happened on or off the field, my mother always had my back at all costs. At the age of 32, realizing how mothers are a intricate part of the growing process for a student-athlete, we must treat both of our parents with the utmost respect and dignity, as they are a major part of who we are today. - Love you mom (Nancy Caporusso Smith), Coach Trout!

2020 HS All-Americans are now featured on the College Football Today 2020 HS All-Americans page in our "collage for college", as we celebrate the recruitment of our 2020 HS All-Americans. Having spoken with many of our HS All-Americans mothers recently, they all are truly dedicated to the success of their sons on and off the field and are extremely proud of what their young men have accomplished thus far in their young careers. When it comes to laying a solid foundation for a top football recruit, mothers aid in the maturing process better then most men, as we are extremely competitive in nature.

I would like to say Happy Mothers Day to president William Cruz III's mother Rosemary Cruz, as see is the definition of a super mom when it comes to the love she has given her children over the years. She helped raise a rising leader in the college football recruiting industry and one of the best men I know in this industry. Knowing Coach Cruz's integrity, leadership qualities and outstanding coaching abilities, he was certainly raised as a leader in the whatever profession he chooses.
