Shermane Pressley 2018 ATH 5'8,175LBS Hylton HS (VA) SUPER ATHLETE/ALL REGION RETURN MAN!12/16/2016   Shermane Pressley comes to us from Woodbridge, Virginia and is a very elusive,fast and agile young man. When it comes to the return game, I have to say this was my favorite position in High School! This young man's highlights start off with one of the best juke cuts you will see, for a Class of 2018 prospect! The next punt return he makes a very bold move in picking up the ground ball in traffic, only to take the ball 70 yards through the same traffic for a touchdown! This young man not only uses his supreme athletcism to beat defenders, but he also has impeccable field vision and awareness! He is able to form a very good pocket when fielding well struck punts and is very special to watch after the catch. Shermane has very good hands and is used heavily in the screen game, as you can see after some more fabulous returns. When at Running back, Shermane hits the hole very quickly and gets his shoulder squared downhill, being able to make cuts keeping progression downfield. Most elusive runners tend to dance to much and can end up being "flashy", but very unproductive. Shermane is more then just elusiveness and moves in his running game, as he is able to use his great power to break tackles. Runners like Shermane are very easily able to create a nice "cut-back" lane by using his supreme agility to set up the alley. Here at Scout Trout these dynamic players are truly valued in the respect, that I can use them to move the ball at will on a opposing defense. Like I have said many times before, Football is a chess match and the one who controls the pieces the best and utlizes all of their God Given talents, wins the race!
