Scout Trout Enterprises has officially been operating since last Thanksgiving. What started as a project for somebody else, has evolved to a point where Scout Trout needed to find formidable help. Since I hit the road with Jesse Guajardo Jr., we have been able to set up our regional directors and head coaches for the Scout Trout All-American Bowl. We have hired from top tier universities, and we cannot be more pleased with the character brought forth to the team by the young women we have found. I am still down in New Orleans and have decided that I can have a working turkey day, as I am not really a fan of turkey anyways. I began this trip searching for a place for the Scout Trout All-American Bowl, as we could not play at Ladd due to NCAA regulations. I am excited to announce and write an article about why we chose Prichard Stadium in the City of Champions. Coach Ford is a diligent worker who has taken the role of Scout Trout's Director of Alabama and will be going up against "The Hoodie" AKA Coach Arrick Boggs and our O-Coordinator/Gunslinger Jesse Guajardo Jr.. More will be added to the itinerary, and our playbook is being built on the CoachMe app. I have figured out most of it and will be working on the rest of the playbook, as soon as our roster is finalized and the jerseys, which have arrived in Ohio at Coach Boggs House, are finished. The jersey's will be shipped according to the date the player signed up, starting with my regional mini-camp participants. I have a deal to get some game pants that have the pads built in. However I am not a fan of these type's of pants and never wore them, so I encourage each athlete to bring a pair of white game pants, along with helmet and shoulder pads. I will keep everyone updated on whether we will have extra equipment for those who need it. Our website is getting over 10,000 views a week and we have a lot of attention on our event in Alabama. I am excited to finalize everything and to see everyone in Prichard, AL at the 2018 Scout Trout All-American Bowl!

Class of 2019 and beyond, I am extremely excited after the recent success of our younger athletes to announce our new programs for this coming year. All information can be found on the Regional Camp page for our early sign-up and on our sign-up page for our College Pipeline Program. The importance of being seen early in today's college recruiting process is imperative to a student-athlete's success, as far as receiving an athletic scholarship. The world of college football recruiting has become extremely competitive and we have athletes as young as 4th grade, such as Carson Carver, who have joined since seeing the astounding results of Class of 2023 athlete Darrick Boggs, who has received mail from the likes of TCU, Pitt, Hawaii, Dartmouth and many other fine college programs. We even launched our girl's volleyball program, after his sister started receiving mail from Stanford and Tulane!
The NCAA recruiting period's can be found below and as you will see the "contact" period begin November 26th and colleges can visit prospects. I would make sure all of my highlights were together as College coaches will be going to check out your final highlights.
We have about 13 spots left for our All-American Bowl for various positions. I want to thank each member who has signed up. I am extremely pleased with the roster we have assembled. I will be contacting each player individually shortly with more information after the holiday, so you can better prepare for the events. Right now, I encourage you to get your information all together so when a coach does show up to your school, you have everything they need for them to possibly make you a offer. We formed the ideas at Scout Trout in order to help athletes get seen by mostly all of the world of college football. It also came out of a genuine love for the student-athletes who we get the honor to coach and watch grow into amazing human beings in today's society. I want to thank every member of the Scout Trout Militia that has taken roles in order to help me this first year in running such a large event and program. There are no days off, and we must remember everything that has kept us bettering our young men of tomorrow. ![]()
