Scout Trout's Pipeline Program
It has been a extremely busy two months since the launch of our camp series and I want to thank everyone that has helped out Scout Trout to this point. I am starting to see our players receive a lot of attention and even some early offers on the board for our QB's. QB's will often be offered earlier than other players simply because they are smaller in numbers. This also works in a reverse fashion as most D1 schools will really be studying players there first few games to make sure they were correct on their initial evaluation. Each case is very different when it comes to division level, and sadly, what region of the USA you are in. You have to look at all of this as if you are building your resume for a job that MANY people are going after. Running Backs, Receivers and other "skill" position players are perceived to be out there in the droves, so calculating every detail is a must here as well. Linemen will always be the priority as it is just extremely hard to find big men that can move, that also possess some mental aptitude. As we reach my College years in "The Story of Merf Trout", I realize why I started playing Safety/Linebacker in College. Kickers and Punters will win and lose you ball games, but they simply are last. I have gotten 4 phone calls in June for Kickers at the D1 and D2 levels, I am not positive why these teams are trying to locate one so late, but it is what it is. All of my athletes need to continue to separate themselves and motivate each other to surpass the competition! How do you do this? Well, let's get creative! Check out what me and Class of 2019 Kicker Jhaidon Duran have been doing below!
Training with Trout and Documentaries with Duran!
Jhaidon Duran has begun his documentary on his training here in Colorado and a special piece on Merf Trout aka Scout Trout. We will be highlighting the up's and down's of my career and how I decided one day to overcome many obstacles to get where I am today. Jhaidon's training video's can be seen below and all of his fine film editing work. I am extremely impressed with his abilities on and off the field and when I speak of separation it is not always about athletics when it comes to being a Superior Student-Athlete! Great Job Jhaidon Duran! We can't wait to see the final films! I will be transferring my reddotkicking domain to DocsWithDuran.com when all is finished! We will be shooting part six tonight at the Colorado Crush indoor football game, which was how Scout Trout got re-located to the most beautiful city on the planet!
Mini Camp's and New Locations
After our Illinois Regional on July 8th, we are planning on possibly heading north to Grand Rapids, Michigan to visit a friend of Scout Trout's and run a regional event for the fine athletes of Michigan. We have also been asked to come to Virginia, Kansas, California, Georgia, Alabama (Before SR BOWL Event), Back to Ohio, Missouri and Texas. I am most likely missing someone as it has been quite hectic, as we ourselves have found many ways to separate ourselves from the pack, as far as our superior knowledge of ALL aspects of this game, on and off the field. We are not geniuses by any means, but choose to pursue knowledge over arguments and use that same aggression we demonstrated on the field to the Coaching/Recruiting/Business world of football. We are still striving to perfect our model that I like to refer to as "The Pipeline Program", but all in all I know we have all the blocks set in stone now. I am a firm believer in building a quick, yet extremely solid foundation when teaching and when piecing together the Lego blocks. We have had clear cut All-State sign up's for our Senior Bowl event that were able to skip a Regional event. I do now have enough prospects committed/paid, for about a team and a half. I am not going to release the data on the prospects until I finalize the initial rosters. After my Colorado event tomorrow morning and the Illinois event on July 8th, I will have a much better idea on our Teams. I am creating a Skills Challenge and a very competitive atmosphere for this weekend, to show off our Elite prospects total skill set. So far with our QB's committed, we will be having one heck of a QB challenge! Here are some of players preparing for the Mountain Regional tomorrow in Denver and the Illinois Regional at Hamilton County High School! Also, the 3 QB's committed so far!
