​Indeed, multiple scouting services named him the Big 12’s top recruiter in 2011 and ’12, when his signees included top-shelf defensive prospects such as Delvon Simmons and Branden Jackson, both from McKeesport, Pa., and the latter now with the Seattle Seahawks. 
Coach Prunty and I go back a long ways and he is one of the few men I truly respect, as far as how he has handled his business, while overcoming adversity and grinding his way to now being a Division One Head Football Coach! Coach Prunty has put 100's of players in NFL camps, throughout his storied coaching career that started at little Gretna HS, in Chatham VA. He built a power house prep team of so-called delinquents, into masterful ball players like Jerrell Powe and Keiland Williams. He taught us how to play tough, but also how to avoid disasters in our lives/careers. After being featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated, Coach Prunty got plucked out of Hargrave by the Texas Tech Red Raiders of the Big 12 Conference. After obtaining recruiter of the year in the Big 12 by Scout.com, Coach was hired as the Associate HC/Defensive Coordinator at the University of Cincinnati Bearcats! Coach continued his high octane style of coaching and after the departure of his good friend Tommy Tuberville, took his diverse coaching skill-set to East Carolina, where you could often find him out on a boat in the outer banks. After honing Scout Trout athelte Darius Pinnix at ECU,. Coach was once again plucked out of where he was coaching and has now taken the Head Coaching job at the Hampton University Pirates. Hampton will be moving to the prestigious Big South conference, where Coach Prunty will be tested once again, as a Head Football coach, except this time, its for a national championship! I want to sincerely thank Coach Prunty for all he has done for me throughout my career, as a player and as well on this side of the game. You are truly a inspiration to me and we wish you the best in your Head Coaching career, at Hampton University! Our Pipeline Platinum Elite program has begun and we will start by training our players in preparation for our Scout Trout Bowl weekend. I am extremely pleased with the reception the south has given us and we have scheduled a meeting with prospects from the MS/AL/LA/FL area's tomorrow at 1-2PM. We will be meeting in Mobile at Sage Park and conducting workouts with our players form Team South. We will be going over college style concepts and shooting workout videos for college coaches nationally, that we can add to your profiles on Scout Trout's elite database of student-athlete's. We will be meeting at Sage Park in Mobile, AL (Same place as last years showcase/test run) at 1-2 PM. We have players already attending from MS/LA and I will be putting out the word tonight to all the players from Alabama. We refuse to sit behind a computer and sell dream, Instead, we choose to use our vast knowledge of the this game, in every aspect, to further the next generation of prime time collegiate athelte. All in all, this program is designed for those who desire to become just as mentally tough, as they are physically and who are prepared to strategize, execute and dominate every time they step foot on the football field. This system has been used by many now and they ALL have reached a new level of atheltic and recruiting success. This system was designed and implemented to by former college/pro atheltes, who desired a drastic change in the way coaching/training/scouting is conducted as a whole.
