Riley Gibbs has one of the highest yards per carry you will see across the Country! Riley has a intense down hill style of running, that is very productive in moving the ball down field. Riley finished the season with 1048 yards, on 96 carries and 17 Touchdowns! This gave Riley a whopping 10.91 average per carry, he also was able to catch 5 passes for 99 yards on the season. Riley boasts a amazing academic record as well, in being able to achieve a 3.8 GPA. When you can play this well and are a well-rounded young man, schools like Bucknell and Columbia begin to draw interest. Riley and his father Kevin also visited the University of Akron and had a wonderful time. When you are a College Coach you must seek "total package" players first that lead by example, these guys end up being leaders of the locker room. They can help others succeed off the field and simply DOMINATE on it. When I look at total situations, the way kids respond to me, the way their parents respond to me, I begin to analyze prospects in a way no other scout can. When speaking to our Mental Coach Nathaan Demers, I realized that all of this matters more than I thought. The ones who are going to succeed are the guys pushing themselves in every aspect of life, every second of everyday, on and off the field! I see Riley Gibbs heavily succeeding in his Senior year and in the world of College Football! Thanks for being apart of my Elite Prospect database and best of luck this off-season! The Running Back training portion will be up for your viewing very soon! I attached one of my All-Time favorite Training songs below! There's no EASY WAY OUT at SCOUT TROUT!
Update 2 - Riley just took home 1st Team All- Conference, 1st Team Ashland County, Medina County Honorable Mention and the school record for yards per carry! Great work Riley Gibbs!
