![]() When it comes to pocket presence and being able to work under duress, I have not found many like this young man from Buda, Texas! Gentry Brawith is a deceptively fast and elusive young man that can deliver the ball downfield accurately and with precision. Gentry's team has struggled on the O-Line, which has made him have to make quick decisive decisions that will produce big plays in the world of College Football. Gentry has very good instincts in the pocket when it comes to blitz recognition, which allows him to find his check-down route immediately upon recognition. His intermediate "snap throws" are made in the face on oncoming pressure and he is able to deliver "darts" to his receivers. When you add the fact that he runs a 4.53 (Coach Verified) , 40 yard dash, you start to see his dual-threat capabilities. Gentry is running your typical college style "spread" offense and is appearing to effortlessly make the correct reads. In the diverse offensive systems of College Football you want a QB who is already prepared for this style of attack. It takes a quick witted QB to be able to make the proper decisions it takes to move the ball downfield effectively in College Football and Brawith is developing into just that. Texas is the TOP state in the United States when it comes to High School Football, and almost reflects playing at a university, and it is the state's main focus. I plan on deepening our All-American Roster with more outstanding players from this state. Gentry clearly is a scholarship level QB and from past experiences, he should land at a high level with his athletics and film he has produced up until this point. I am elated to announce our next selection as a Scout Trout All-American and commitment to our Senior Bowl Weekend Showcase, Gentry Brawith!
