![]() I got the privilege of watching a total team effort in the State Colorado Semi-Finals, at Mead High School! Coach Andy Watts has done a marvelous job in preaching mental and physical toughness to his team at East. He is a very good leader of these young men and I want to thank him for allowing them to be apart of Scout Trout Enterprises, Elite Student-Athlete's Database. The game above was a dramatic contest that featured two very good ball clubs, with a ton of prospects for the world of College Football! The aggressive down hill, bruising and smart style of running, Mr.Torres possesses is amazing to watch! He can locate the hole quickly and use great overall athleticism to get down field. His yards after contact has to be one of the highest averages in the NATION, as he has WELL over 4,000 Career yards, with over 70 TD's! I had a response from Georgia Tech about Bryson and I really could see him fitting in that style of offense, EXTREMELY WELL! The yellow jackets are a lot like NAVY, in their ground and pound approach! But do not let that fool you, as they can hit you deep at any moment, after lulling you to sleep. But as we know this takes a total team effort to move the football effectively, in today's game. Kyle Bloms and Dominick Finley anchor a East line that loves to move other men against their WILLS! The great Russ Grimm said this " THERE IS NOTHING LIKE MOVING ANOTHER MAN AGAINST HIS WILL", and these guys enjoy it thoroughly! Kyle Bloms has already gained a offer from Avila College, in Kansas City and has been even seen blocking pivotal Field Goals for the East Eagles! Dominick Finley is one of the LARGEST/STRONGEST, Class of 2018 prospects in our Elite Prospect Database and will be highly sought after over the course of his recruitment. Josh Tellez is also a MAJOR reason for the East Eagles success in the run game, as he is able to blow up on coming blockers and turn them the proper direction, to create lanes for the Torres Train to come motoring by. Tellez is also a highly sought after recruit and has interest from a ton of D1 schools. I helped Josh so far, get a offer from Lincoln U in Mizzou and we are almost positive more will come after the Championship. The most important play of the State Semi-Finals happened shortly after Mead had tied the game and momentum had swung their way. The biggest mistake Mead made all game was kicking the ball off to the Most Dynamic player on East, when it comes to speed, agility, acceleration, uncanny route-running, intellect and desire to be great! Dusty caught the ball and easily found his way, all the way deep into the opponents side of the field, creating now a easy opportunity to milk the clock and get the winning score. I knew with the running game East had with Tellez, Bloms, Finley and the rest of the boys from up front, finishing this drive was going to be easy and another bid to the Colorado State Championship! Josh Tellez had his Trot going and shortly after the Eagles were back in the State Championship! Other players who are not in my database yet that stood out were Luke Padula, who has a offer from CSU-P and you can clearly see why! Luke has a tough style of running after the catch and plays great defense up in the box. Grant Baggett #59 is a stout young man who definitely can play at the next level. He gains leverage easily and holds the edge well, while being able to block shed at a high level. Dusty Biggers has a ton of interest from Top Academic Schools like Princeton, Columbia, Yale and Colorado School of Mines! Dusty also has interest across the landscape of College Football from the likes of West Texas A & M and Black Hills State! I am quite positive all members enrolled in our Developmental/Scouting/Results program will be playing at the next level. I look forward to making the trip down to the Springs, in the BLACK BEAUTY to watch excellence once again. You did not play well for all 4 Quarters as a Collective unit, against Mead and still won the game because you are a HIGHLY talented team. Do not let anyone behind you deep this week on Defense! Study the film hard and watch for your keys for the game, reading your keys right will make up 1-2 seconds of play time. That is the difference between getting TOASTED and a Interception/Pass Break-up! Love you guys and see you at State! #ScoutTrout #ColoradoFootball #StateChampionship #3AStateChampioship #Ballers #TeamWork #Resilient #CollegeBound #EliteFBProspects #PuebloEastHS |
