Myles Williams reminds me of Ladainian Tomlinson in how he powers straight through you and dances around you. With impeccable field vision, Myles is able to find the cutback lane and get to open daylight with his great all-around athletics. You will see him find the "5th" cutback lane on the first play, which is what Coach Prunty talked about on our Radio Interview back in August. On the 2nd play, you can witness his power style of downhill running, which is very conducive to big plays and moving the chains. As a very patient runner, Williams shows a knack for finding the open hole in the defense and quickly scampering through it for a score, as seen on the third play. Myles has become an exceptionally strong runner after making the transition from linebacker his Junior year. It's clear from his outstanding film that he excels in short yardage situations like when he leaps over the pile at around 1:05. Watching Myles line up at wide receiver and catch the ball out of the backfield, you can see more of why I compared him to Hall of Fame tailback Ladainian Tomlinson of the now extinct San Diego Chargers (Now LA Chargers). I am extremely pleased that Myles has accepted his Scout Trout All-American Bowl invitation and I am excited to work with this young athletic back!
