If football was played like Rugby and people were taught the proper way to tackle, we would really minimize the concussion problem today. That being said Rugby players are some of the TOUGHEST, SMARTEST and most HUMBLE players in all of sports, from my experience around the sport. If your lucky enough to find a QB who has played this thrilling sport at a high level, you truly will have a diamond in the rough. Lachlan made a choice to chase his dream of playing College Football in America and made the trip to Florida. There were many road block's in his attempt to find a home and he landed at Berean Christian. On the first throw of his "small highlight's", he uses very good footwork and is able to throw a perfect pass up the sideline. Knowing Lachlan is a 4.6 guy with no training in the 40, I believe he is even faster than that. Lachlan was known in Rugby for having a very quick release and shows a very quick release from the pocket. On the 3rd play, you really can see the Rubgy player in him, as he is able to catch his own pass and than wiggle through traffic for a very long score. Lachlan is very efficient in the option game and once again uses that Rugby style play, to create a beautiful option attack. Lachlan has a mind-set that he will succeed at a very high level and it has become a way of life. Once he sets a task, he not only completes it, he does it with a Rugby like attitude. I explained what that attitude was and if you do not want that on your Football team, than you really do not know the game of Football. Lachlan shows very good abilities throwing the ball on the run and can square his shoulders, being able deliver the ball with supreme accuracy. If you time his release from catch to throw on short routes, he delivers the ball in less than 1 second, which is a EXTREMELY quick release. Lachlan has been attending the Mastrole Passing academy twice a month and you can see it majorly paying off. You can tell Lachlan is a sponge when it comes to mechanics, as he is able to throw the ball with his entire body, while using a proper throwing angle. Thus far Lachlan has been in communication with UC Davis, St.Anselm, Stetson, Assumption, Dordt, Hobart, Bethany (KS) and Denison.
