Jake Lyons 6'2,250LBS LB/DE Class of 2018 Catholic Central HS (OH) - All-American Report (SR YR)11/25/2017 ![]()
Jake Lyons finished off his senior campaign by being selected 1st Team All-State South West District Team Defense, 1st Team All-Conference Defensive End in addition to winning the Bill O'Neill Integrity award in the great football state of Ohio. What's more, Jake had a wonderful Junior season with 4-5 offers on the table going into the heavy recruiting season. Watching Jake's dexterity and superior tackling skills in his senior film, I feel like I am watching the next Brian Urlacher. Jake can also play the roll of a J.J. Watt and come off the edge with the best in the country. Around :30 seconds into his senior season highlights, Lyons can be seen simply crushing his opponent with a perfect savage form tackle. On the next play, this skillful lineman shows off more of his brute strength along with his stellar football technique as a tenacious pulling guard. Not to mention, Jake has the capacity to utterly annihilate his opponent by gaining leverage and driving his legs until the pancake is served with extra syrup. The way Lyons can launch his body in any direction to be able to "Kill The Levers" is quite impressive and deserves the SCOUT TROUT LEVERS KILLER AWARD. You can clearly see that Jake can hold the edge efficiently and launch his body back to the inside to make another LEVER KILLING tackle. As an O-Lineman, Jake is able to quickly get to the second level, then arrives with authority while moving his man against his will. Jake Lyons has accepted his invitation to attend the Scout Trout All-American Bowl and will be competing for Team North!
If the levers have to be over mass, then we shall KILL THE LEVERS! #SAVAGESEASON

Sports is probably the most tedious thing to watch yet very enjoying because in sports we see people battling at each other and creating a war against the talents, skills and capabilities of each individual. I hope that this idea would fade and will not exist anymore because these hinders us to see the true essence of sports and that is sportsmanship. In sports, we do not just compete because we also make friends.
