Jacob Hall, once said to be too small to play college football, is one of Scout Trout's most highly recruited athletes. With the grit and determination of a small army, Jacob holds the Scout Trout bench press record with 16 reps at 225LBS! He had two of the best mini-camps of all the Scout Trout Athletes in the way he was able to show off his versatility on a football field. I used to compare him to the great Mike Webster. However now that I have seen how athletic this young man really is, I believe he can be the next big-time fullback in world of college football. Jacob ran great routes out of the backfield and showed Scout Trout his stellar set of hands at our 2017 Regional Mini Camps. Not to mention, he dominated coming off the edge as an explosive pass rusher. As you will see in the film above and throughout his remarkable highlights, Hall is able to quickly reach the second level of a defense and seal off the linebackers with great technique. When battling it out in the trenches, Hall's skillful feet help him to pick up uncovered defenders and save his Quarterback from disaster. Jacob and his team had a amazing season and I am thrilled Jacob will be attending our Scout Trout All-American Bowl at the beautiful Prichard Stadium in Alabama!
