Scout Trout Football
Growing up in South Jersey, ever since the 8th grade, I was throwing 4-5 touchdowns a contest before being wrapped around a pole at around 80 MPH, which completely upended my "process." Suffering a traumatic brain injury, I was placed on home school for the spring semester of my sophomore year and transferred to Gloucester Catholic, where we had a below average QB in my class. Being a transfer and not in the "inner circle" of "drinking buddies", I was moved to Fullback to blast my still not healed frontal lobe into linebackers as a lead blocker for another below average running back. When they needed to move the football, they knew where to find me, and as usual, I found a way to still be successful in primarily a blocking role. Since our QB could not get the ball downfield very far, he was finding me out in the flats, after selling block on an ISO or POWER play, which is all we ever ran.
Rivals Football Recruiting![]()
My high school years were not easy as a TOP rated player on Rivals.com and the hatred still spews from that area to this day. Luckily, through vast studies of the human mind and brain, I have been able to develop my own process that has made me capable of leadership and almost anything I want with a football. When I release a 75-yard bomb on the beach, I do not even question if it will be close, as it is usually finding the trash can, through intense winds. But let's get into the mentality it takes to achieve this standard of play and living. Youth Football and High School Football needs to be evaluated more intuitively, as far as brain damage is concerned in our youth. This creates a dysfunctional human being in the end and one that turns to drugs, alcohol and violence as a way to cope with the mental anguish of slamming their not yet developed brains into another's skull, time and time again. Being taught that this is the man's way of doing things in the most barbaric of natures. I pray for the young men who are tormented with early CTE and players like Mike Webster (R.I.P) everyday. But what if you could re-wire it all to work masterfully once again? Do you not think this would benefit our society and the ball players more in the end? Bringing them back from those deep dark places can not only save the game of football, but we can learn how it can be avoided. Each athlete has a choice, a choice to do things the right way or do things the way "everybody" else is. Creating S.T.E.P-eration in the end, means not only developing your process, but refining it until it is deemed a masterpiece and cannot be defeated.
