It has been a amazing year for George Bento and he has solidified himself as one of the most dominant at his position in the nation. Being able to line up on the defensive line and manhandle his opponents, is what George is accustom to, but if you know 6A Florida football, it is extremely fast and George is able to track down defenders with his supreme athletic prowess. This being said, George could easily convert to ANY of the Linebacker positions and would make a really good H-Back/Fullback or even a Tight End, with the skill set he possesses. Below's stats are through 7 games and as you can see, George Bento is leading the pack by 14 total tackles! With 27 tackles for a loss and 10 Sacks, these are savage numbers to have in one of the toughest divisions in all of High School Football. No wonder so many Division 1 FBS programs have been courting this young man, who comes from the Polynesian decent, which explains his tremendous work ethic and BRUTE Strength to the core, as Scout Trout has suited up with many Polynesians and loves the tenacity they bring the field.

When evaluating George's end of season highlight's, at the top of this page. You will see how easily George is able to maintain gap control, by creating leverage with his massive arms and great technique, on the very first play of this wonderful highlight. Once George gets his big paws on you, you are going to the ground and going hard! George's stellar tackling technique is a pivotal reason for his success in leading the State in Tackles, in as I stated, one of the top football divisions in the USA. George is a Quarterback's nightmare , because once he bears down on you with his incredible "closing speed", you know it is not going to be easy to escape. George shows great athletics in sacking the Quarterback on play two of his highlight's and is able to make a clean "sweeping" sack of the Quarterback. When you watch how fast George is able to use his hands to quickly swim the offensive linemen on play three, you will start to see the next NCAA dominant pass rushing Defensive End/Hybrid LB. George shows amazing finesse and power moves off of the ball and is not fun for any linemen to block, as he will wear their tails out quickly, with a very intense overall MOTOR. At 1:00 into George's Highlight's, he is able to make a very well timed blocked field goal and shows his value as a instant starter on the special teams side of the football, at the Collegiate level. The ability seen to scrape down the line of scrimmage on the next play is why I believe that George could easily drop back and also play Linebacker, as he is quick as cat! George does not give up on a play, no matter how far downfield the ball gets, you will see this young warrior tracking down ball carriers, until the job is complete. The way George is able to almost launch himself in the air and grab the ball carriers is also very impressive and shows more of the EXPLOSIVENESS that this young man possesses in his lower body. George is seen easily taking on lead blockers and detaching extremely quickly to stop the ball carrier in the backfield. This style of play honestly reminds me of a young JAMES HARRISSON, who is one of the best to ever play in the box for the Pittsburgh Steelers. The hit George makes at 3:08 into this film, results in a fumble and a broken jaw. George might be big, but he exemplifies what I like to call "The Lower Man Winning" and is able to "Kill The Levers", which are your feet, this creates the type of numbers this young athletic phenom has been producing as of late. George is already on most of the nation's radar and now it is going to be fun to see who all ends up offering this phenomenal athlete from Centennial High School in Port St.Lucie, Florida! I want to thank the Bento's for being apart of the Scout Trout Militia and I am excited to meet them in Mobile, at the Scout Trout All-American Showcase-Game.
