Freddie Plum was the "Beast of the East" this past season and performed very well on both sides of the ball, for the East Liverpool Potters. Plum is seen very quickly getting off the ball on the D-Line and creating mayhem in the back field. Plum is extremely good at detaching from linemen and scraping down the line of scrimmage to the ball carrier. I really like him on offense as well, because as you will see he has extremely good feet for his enormous stature. He also appears to possess very good upper body strength in the way he is able to simply throw defenders to the turf! Freddie shows great pass rushing ability off the edge and reads the QB's deilvery well at 1:58, in being able to get his hands up and bat the ball down. Players like Freddie are able to set the edge extremely well with their athleticism and obvious stature. You can also send Freddie off the edge or through the interior gaps to make big plays in the backfield. I really like Freddie on Defense, but I also could see him being a very dominant Offensive Tackle as well, with a extra 20Lbs and his stellar height and footwork. Congrats on a great season Mr.Plum and we look forward to watching you play College Football!
