Jake Deluccia is one of the top 2020 ATH recruits in the nation

When I first evaluated Jake Deluccia, I found a long snapper with some of the best times nationally across the board. As I have been checking up on his performances, he proves to be a superior athlete on both sides of the football and as you got to see above, some top tier NCAA programs have started to recruit Jake Deluccia. Jake has excelled up to this point on defense, as he has made 24 tackles and has shown great instincts at the linebacker position for a 2020 recruit. On the defensive side of the football, Deluccia can be seen below using great overall tackling technique and shows great quickness in his ability to meet the ball carrier in the hole or in the backfield when blitzing.. Jake is able to scrape down the line of scrimmage with his outstanding overall strength and detach from blockers, while showing he can cover sideline to sideline for you on the defensive side of the football. Jake is seen around 2:45 at the H-Back/TE position and is shown running a beautiful out-and-up route, resulting in a beautiful catch for a touchdown. The next play, Joe shows he can catch the ball in traffic and is able to secure what appears to be a back shoulder touchdown, which proves Jake and his unit are well coached on modern day college philosophies.  Jake shows that he can also be used as a sledge hammer fullback, around 3 minutes into his mid-season highlights, as he can be seen blowing out the defensive end on a QB power play. When it comes to versatility, Deluccia so far is unmatched in the class of 2020--a major reason why he is being recruited so heavily from the start.
