Welcome to Scout TroutCombine Portion![]() We ALL want to go to the next level, right? Well, there are certain measures and tactics that need to be taken to get there. After studying some of the greats of the game methods, I realized, why not us? This is an approach that many still have not fully understood, but those who do, you get to see hoisting trophies year in and year out. So, if we as players can adapt and learn from these methods, why can't we be great? The first step of the process is the combine portion at our camps, and you can see the numbers that were produced by the fine athlete's of the Southeast and Texas. I watched a young man drop his 40 time down from a 5.2 to a 4.65! He was able to learn the proper starting technique and really drop his time. The Shuttle, Broad Jump and L-Drill will be included in this combine as well. Each athlete will get 2 attempts and a quick critique after the first attempt, to help strengthen his numbers. After each athlete completes all of these drills, we will break into offensive and defensive groups. The next session will be used to get you ready for the 7 on 7 drills, and we will show you what we are looking for in next level players. College Concepts/Learning Period![]() It is vital that the athlete understands the game of football once they get to the next level. In the next portion, we will be working on the route tree and different concepts we will be running with the offense. The Quarterbacks will be learning how to manipulate a defense and how to work through a progression. The Wide Receivers will be learning different variations of college option routes and concepts that work for 7 on 7 methods. The Running Backs will be heavily involved in the passing game, and will be expected to perform blitz pick ups from our linebackers. Many route combinations will be deployed, and we are looking for players that can read and react to different scenarios. Linemen will be working with Coach Lysinger, a very smart interior linemen, who I played with in College. He will be explaining various blocking schemes and techniques and putting you through various linemen drills. I have not spoken to any Kickers or Punters about the camp yet, but we will have a special teams period that I like to participate in. We have the field until 8:30 PM, so we do not have to rush through this event. We are looking for "Quality, not Quantity", as the greats all say in the game. Most of the athletes in the pipeline program are attending, and many from across the state have contacted me. I am excited to meet all the players I currently work with in the area. The next period will be 7 on 7. 7 on 7 - College/Pro Schemes![]() We will be running 7 on 7 and I will be working with both sides of the ball, but mainly drawing up plays on the white board for the offense. Coach Lysinger will be running the defense and giving the DB/LB's different coverage combinations, such as man, cover 2, cover 3 and many other combinations to combat our offense. . We will have multiple devices filming each position group. I expect the QB's to avoid pressure and get through their progression, there is nothing wrong with hitting the check down route or throwing the ball away. Below is a example from our Mobile camp of a progression, with a option route. Linebackers will be working to there zone coverage and watching for the occasional draw play that we will sneak incorporate. You will learn everything we are looking for in the College Concepts learning period. We are also going to let you play and show off all of your skill sets for the College Coaches. Most importantly all of your highlights and film will be sent to every school in america that offers football scholarships. We will work with you to find a home at any level possible. We have athletes with D1 offers in our database and we have had guys sign with D2/NAIA/JUCO schools. REcruiting Questions/Special Teams![]() Once we are all finished with the activities, which if we have time we will incorporate a special teams period for return men. If we have any kickers/punters show up I will work personally with them. After we are finished with all football activities if there are any questions about recruiting or the Scout Trout program we can discuss them. I will also go over each class and how the process works. The crucial things that need to be accomplished off the field, like the NCAA Clearinghouse, FAFSA Report, ACT/SAT and some other important factors. Exposure is a must, and that is what we provide. We have had millions of views since Thanksgiving on Scout Videos alone. We strive to produce results and to give the college football programs well rounded student-athletes who they can count on in any situation. It is supposed to be a very nice day tomorrow and I am excited to get to work with you guys at Loveland Sports Complex, in Loveland, Colorado! Thank you for those who have already enrolled and those who are coming! We are looking forward to a fun, yet productive, event! #ScoutTrout #CollegeFootball #Colorado #MiniCamp #LovelandCO #NCAAFootball #PlayNAIA #JUCOFootball #HuntOrBeHunted #StudentAthlete #CollegeBound #FootballCombine #7on7 #OneOnOnes #BallerAlert #FCSFootball #FBSFootball #D1Bound #D2Football #NAIAFootball #Grind #Knowledge |
