HIGH SCHOOL ALL AMERICAN WR2019 COLLEGE FOOTBALL RECRUITING
Julius Monroe out of Justin F. Kimball High School, TX is one of the most explosive wide receivers you will witness on tape. He is so quick and nimble, that he is able to turn his body up field after the catch so quickly that is often extremely hard to gauge for tacklers. Julius has received FCS interest from Cornell thus far and also D2 Football powerhouse West Texas A & M, as he will bring a college football team the skill set of a Antonio Brown, if given the opportunity.
SPEED KILLS
With the many changes in College Football Today, one thing remains consistent and that is that speed kills an over-pursing defense, while also creating big plays.
As you will see in Monroe's 2019 highlights below, he catches the football cleanly and is able to create separation from defensive backs quite easily with his extreme quickness. His game changing speed is very visible on tape and Julius has been clocked at 4.45 in the 40 yard dash. When you watch him catch a bubble screen at 1:26 into his highlights below, you will see what appears to be a ghost, as Julius catches the ball at the 10 yard line and whisks into the end-zone unscathed in a blink of eye. If the ball is thrown more abruptly in a college style scheme, there is no telling the numbers that Julius could put up at wide receiver at the next level. I am excited to coach this exciting receiver out of the great state of Texas in the 2019 College Football Today All-American Bowl in Addison,Texas the weekend of January 18th-20th!
BEST WIDE RECEIVER IN THE NFL
Comparing the best wide receiver in the NFL today to the up and coming 2019 Wide Receiver recruit Julius Monroe, you can see what Monroe could become in the near future with his skill set. Antonio Brown stands at 5'10, 186lbs and was the second best player in all of the League according to the NFL network. He uses the same types of movements and is able to escape tight quarters instantly with his uncanny agility. Brown was told he was not big enough to play College Football and proves that speed, combined with great vision is certainly a killer at all levels of football today.
