Navy FB recruiting for the 2020 recruiting class gained a major boost by obtaining a commitment from top 2020 QB recruit Aaron Swafford. When I watched Aaron's tape on both sides of the football, I got to see one of the toughest recruits in the nation, as the kid could flat out do it all for Meigs County HS in TN. Having formerly played against Navy football, I know what caliber of toughness is needed to operate the veer option for the Naval football academy. This style of football takes a certain type of player and Swafford not only shows the toughness needed, but also has the overall athletics to excel at a high level in this offense.
