![]() Brady Douthat is one of the most versatile players in our company as far as being able to line up anywhere on the field. When I evaluate this young man as a QB, you see a brilliant young mind in the way he can lead his team down field. He uses his shoulders and eyes well when looking off defenders, because he also excels as a Hyrbid OLB/DE when coming off the edge and is good in pass coverage. I have also seen this young man line up as a receiver and beat guys that were true corners. As you will see in both films, Brady has a very quick release and uses his torso well when pushing the ball downfield. When throwing to Receivers like D1 prospect Ty Wiley, Brady is in sync and shows great awareness in his timing passes on where to locate the ball. In his Illinois camp highlight's, Brady proved to be even more impressive after being extremely coach-able and absorbing the College style throws needed to be successful at the next level. He showed a lot more "Zip" on his ball and really tweaked his throwing mechanics to that of a G.O.A.T! The ball appeared to be shot out of a cannon on intermediate routes and got to the receivers in a hurry! Brady's snap throws are quick and with very good precision, which allows the receiver to get up field very quickly. Brady is one of those players that can line up anywhere on a football field, but with his leadership abilities and the way he can orchestrate a drive, I see him as a BIG time College Football Quarterback at the next level! Brady also got to make some bloopers in Illinois and was a lot of fun to coach! Congrats on being selected a Scout Trout All-American and best of luck this season in Ohio!
