Bailey Ackerman 5'10,225LB FB/LB Class of 2018 Andrew Jackson Academy - All-American Report

Bailey Ackerman comes to Scout Trout from a storied program, that has produced 34 straight wins in the great state of South Carolina, The Andrew Jackson Academy. Bailey is a highly touted Fullback that runs extremely hard, with a low center of gravity, while being able to carry the ball over 30 times in a game and still play at a high level, at the Linebacker position. Currently with 1616 yards on 190 carries and 21 Touchdown's, the future is looking bright for this young man with school's like The Citadel, Limestone and Wofford already paying close attention to this game changing ball carrier. Watching Bailey utilize great vision and good speed for a big runner, he could also be used as a Tail Back, at the next level and will obviously wear down a defense. This will open the play action passing game, as more defenders will be needed in the box to take this young bull down. Much like Mike Alstott was used for the Tampa Buccaneers, which produced a Super Bowl and 6 Pro Bowl appearances.  It is a sight to see Bailey come off the ball and how quickly he is able to get to the Quarterback for the sack in his film, which is why he was placed in the Athlete category, of the Scout Trout Database. I love the way Bailey is able to keep his feet churning, as his yards after contact statistic has to be utterly insane, when watching him break, bounce and crush his way through tackle after tackle. I am just imagining moving him a few more yards back and handing him the football, as this would completely decimate a defense and open up Pandora's box in the play action attack. Bailey can be used in the option game as a Fullback or you can make him your work horse and put him back as a Tailback.
