  I got the priveledge to workout Anthony Black back in August and I rated him one of the top DB's I have seen, as far as man to man coverage skills. I also timed Anthony at a 4.48 forty yard dash and he was the top performer in the L-Drill, out a amazing crop of Athlete's. Anthony is also a dynamic receiver and I can see him being extremely useful in the return game, at the next level. Anthony only played 3 games this season due to a dysfunctional Coaching Staff. A Junior stud on the team let me know that after the last game, he did not even stick around to talk to the team and was in his car headed home. This is just one example at the lack of leadership these young men had. Anthony has a 3.9 GPA and has scored a impressive 1010 on his SAT. Anthony has a ton of school's interested in him and I can see him being the next Richard Sherman. Anthony is a born leader and will be a dynamic steal for any team that gets his services. Anthony was literally asked to leave the team after 3 games for "being disrespecful to trainers", who were Male. After observing Anthony's behavior in person, their is not a disrespectful bone in his body. He just likes to tell it how it is and some people are not going to like what they hear. Freedom of speech is our first amendment right and dislodging a young man from the team for a entire season is ludacris. I made plenty of mistakes growing up during football season and my coaches employed a ruthless dicipline in making me bear crawl until I puked. Their are also other tactics to punishment that could have been invoked, rather than benching a ELITE ATHLETE his entire Senior year. If this happened to most young men they would have given up on College all together, but not Anthony Black! He is super respectful to the same man who tried to ruin his chances, at the next level. He scored 60 points higher his second try on the SAT. His GPA has gone up! This is a young man I would be targeting If I were a big time College Football program, because he is going to have something to prove when he takes the field again!
