Andrevious Johnson is a outstanding outside receiver, who possesses the athletic skill and size needed to excel at a high level in the pass heavy game of collegiate football. Johnson also is a stellar defensive back and is able to create turnovers, while being a outstanding tackler in the run game. With additional size added, Johnson would make a Kam Chancellor like safety, with his overall athletics at the defensive back position. As you will see at around four minutes into his highlight's above, Andrevious is a dynamite return man and overall special teams player. Johnson is able to take a kickoff return 80 yards down the sideline, while showing outstanding agility and superior acceleration to be able to pull away from the defenders for the touchdown. He shows very good technique in returning punts and is able to chew up yards quickly, by not wasting anytime getting the ball downfield. Johnson is able to run great routes and much like the great Keyshawn Johnson (NFL), is a extremely tough possession receiver. Andrevious is a excellent downfield blocker and is able to assist in creating big plays for his electric ball carriers at Aliceville High School. At 6:20 into his highlight's, Johnson is able to show more of his big play ability, as he hauls in a very long pass and is able to take it for another 6 points for his squad. The concentration he shows on the next play is quite magnificent, as the ball is stolen right out of two defenders hands by Andrevious and he is able to get another 6 points for his ball club. Andrevious falls into my athlete category, but I really like him at the outside Receiver position and as a return man for the next level.
