2021 FCS FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP

The 2021 FCS Football Championship game kicks off at 1:00 P.M. and will feature the undefeated Southland Conference Champions Sam Houston State vs the 7 & 1 Missouri Valley Conference Champion South Dakota State Jackrabbits. Sam Houston State looks to cap off a historic undefeated 2021 FCS spring football season, against a South Dakota St team that has won 7 straight FCS contests in very convincing fashion and is firing on all cylinders. Both squads are loaded with future FCS NFL Draft prospects and have boasted better recruiting classes than many FBS teams the past 5 to 6 seasons, while building their teams into solidified FCS Championship contenders. 

SOUTH DAKOTA ST FOOTBALL

South Dakota St football was able to crush any hopes of Coach K.C Keeler being reunited against the team he led to his first FCS Championship title, as they obliterated the Delaware Blue Hens in the FCS Playoff Semifinals by a score of 33 to 3. This was the Blue Hens first loss on the 2021 Spring FCS football season and South Dakota State looked like an unstoppable well-oiled machine on both sides of the football.  Throughout Coach Stiegelmeier's 24 year tenure at South Dakota State, he has accumulated a 166 & 105 record, while securing 10 FCS playoff bids and today will be Jackrabbits first ever FCS Football Championship appearance. Both FCS Championship contenders were able to knock off perennial FCS football powerhouse North Dakota State and Sam Houston State ousted the James Madison Dukes in the FCS football semifinals, who are a contender year in and year out for the FCS Football crown. 

K.C KEELER

K.C Keeler was in training camp with the USFL Stars with my father David Trout and saw his action as a Head Football coach with the Profs of Rowan University. Keeler was able to lead the Profs to five NJAC Championships and was hired by the Delaware Blue Hens in 2002. In only his second season as Head Coach, Keeler led the Fightin' Blue Hens to an FCS Championship crown in 2003 and three total FCS championship appearances. The former Eddie Robinson Coach of The Year & ESPN Top 150 Collegiate Coaches has now compiled an astounding 233-95-1 coaching record, while being known across the National Football League as one of the best developers of next level talent. Both coaches are true builders of what are turning out to be pretty glamorous destinations as future homes for top recruits in the world of College Football Today. (Note: The new College Football Today will launch on July 4th, 2021)
