Braden Sherron Jr has remarkable athletics at the Quarterback position and after further evaluation has moved up my list of Top Dual-Threat QB's in the nation. With 4.5 speed, which is clearly visible on the first long run of this Johnny football like highlight reel. Braden is able to make a beautiful read on the defensive end and pulls the football on the read-option, which is able to create a beautiful running lane to the outside and Braden is able to glide his way nearly 70 yards in 7.2 seconds for a touchdown. This also confirms Braden's blazing times of 10.8 seconds in the 100 meter dash and 50 seconds in the 400 meter dash. Braden possesses outstanding acceleration and also top end speed to be able to pull away from defenders with ease. Braden shows great football work in the pocket and transitions his body weight extremely well on his throws from the pocket. You can see this outstanding technique on the 2nd play, as Braden delivers a perfect touch pass to his receiver over two defenders for a great play-action touchdown, out of the dual-threat look. Braden throws outstanding balls over the top of the defense and is also keen passer on the run, in being able to deliver balls with velocity, along with pristine accuracy. You can witness Braden rolling to the right on his third highlight and he throws a nearly impossible completion to his receiver for a touchdown. Sherron Jr is able to show uncanny agility at around 1:05, where he looks the former Heisman Trophy winner even more with even better overall agility, as he completely shatters the LB's ankles with his exceptional agility. The next run will leave you gasping for air if you play defense, as somehow Braden is able to escape 5 defenders on his way to one of the most re-markable plays you will see from a Dual-Threat QB for his class. Do not let Sherron Jr fool you though. Just like Johnny Football as a Heisman winner, Sherron Jr can push the ball down field with very good arm strength and outstanding precision to hit his receivers in stride. Braden is able to create plays when the pocket stars collapsing extremely well with his legs and once he is out of the pocket, he does a great job at squaring his shoulders and throws perfect "darts" to open areas of the football field for his receivers to thrive in the passing game. Sherron's aggressive downhill running style is also very powerful. He can be seen on his highlights breaking through defenders on his way to yet another rushing touchdown, as he continues to move up my Big Board at the Dual-Threat position. The ball fake on the read-option at 2:40, makes me believe that this young man might be the best QB in America at running the read-option, and it appears he gets a ton of practice with Flour Bluff Football in Corpus Christy, TX. The last play is another Manziel-like run, but as I said at the very start of the report, Sherron is BETTER as a JR in high school than Manziel was with the Cleveland Browns or at Texas A&M! I am going to leave it at that. Congrats on being an Elite Dual-Threat QB and being OFFICIALLY Nominated to join our Scout Trout All-American Bowl Class of 2019 Roster, as our 8th QB to secure your All-American nomination to compete alongside the NFL Reese's Senior Bowl!
